The BEST WAY to clear the corruption / evil biomes ( Terraria 1.4.4 )

I'm playing on a large world right now from scratch, by the time I'm able the beat the moonlord and upgrade the clentaminator i think the only viable strategy is to dig hellevators every 170 tiles to give room for error and just fall down spraying one direction and fall down spraying in another direction. that way the reach of the terraformer should have gotten everything

The corruption spreads on the walls of the cave as well so pay attentention when you make the tunnels to destroy the walls

I was reading about how to stop the crimson and hallow from spreading, but I saw your video so decided to ask: will digging 6 block wide tunels with wood on edges vertically and horizontally around hallow and crimson stop them from spreading? Thanks for the help to anyone who answers!

Idk why but my crimson doesn’t spread at all like nothing i did not do anything so i still need to clear it

My Dryad still says, that there are 5% Crimson left, but I don't see a single block. Even with a map viewer I can't find anything. Am I missing something?

My Hallow is at 3%, although I left an area behind for the NPCs. So 5% crimson sounds wrong to me.

if you can't find the 1% corrupted block then maybe you could let it grow a little bit so it becomes more visible

note some improvements: clentaminator + green solution is expensive, id recommend using an ammo box while firing and a discount card when buying it

dont get rid of hallow is very cool doesnt feel weird end feels relaxing just dont die end i dont recommend crimson if u dont like a meaty biome is like zombie infection but worst corruption is good if u want to be chill

There is another solution: Just tear down the entire world, every block, by hand and build yourself a new one without these bioms!

I just completly dug it out so i could build there. I was alone in a large world.

Me and a friend of mine recently went into hardmode, and the corruption literally spawned right at our house.

Ehhhh, Hallow is more of a peaceful type of spreadable biome. It doesn't have anything bad in it.

If you are too lazy to make hellvators, you could also upgrade the rod of discord.

And how can I reintroduce them?

man, my lazy ass uses tedit all the time to clean biomes and surround them with blocks so that they wont spread💀

thank you this Strat Is actually kinda good because ive gotten down to 1% crimson, but that's now a bad thing because I can't find that 1% anywhere in my world someone help me please (ive spent 3 hours trying to find it)

please does anyone know if demon alters and or the ores spread the evil biomes?? i always see veins of ore or alters in random pure spots in the caverns and they give me anxiety LOL
