ATEM Mimi Pro Software Control Media Player Issue

If you don't save start up state in the software by clicking file and save startup state, It will always reset to the last saved startup state.

On the ‘Switcher’ tab at the right side, there is a ‘Media player’. There are 3 still images. My function buttons (play, next, repeat,…) are not active. It is not working. Please help 😅

If you select auto save it doesn’t disappear.

I would consider removing as this is not (currently) accurate. It took me a bit to figure this out, because I perceived the same problem as you mention here. Could be the latest software version has eliminated this issue. Here is how to deal with.... The current version allows for you to save your settings (under FILE> SAVE AS). In there you will have the option to select what parts of your current configuration you want to save. Then one you restart/reload your application, you RESTORE the settings you saved. Bonus. if you have a BM camera, it saves these settings as well.

My issue with this unit is I can’t upload videos only still photos, I would like to know if there’s a problem with my hardware or software!

Install the 8.5.1 software and hardware as well at least. Images don't disappear at all :). Don't forget to update the hardware!

It is Dec. 29, 2020 I just purchase the Atem mini and have latest update for the controller software and still does not seem to be saving the images. it is a pain in the butt having to reload images every time. Also it would be nice if I could scroll through images every time I press the still button on the actual unit instead of having to go into the software to select another image. perhaps I am missing something

You can export an XML file that keeps all the settings then when you start it up you re-load the XML, just select: file > save as.

Yes this needs to be fixed! Hopefully it can be updated through a software update and isn't a hardware issue.
