This video is from February of 2022. Right now in June 2023 Instacart is HORRIBLE. Depending on where you live you can’t make a lot of money because IC has hired too many shoppers….also the bubble hot spot zones are BS intended for IC not having to pay shoppers more.

You can't pick and choose which store you will shop at. You can be inside Grocery Brand A when you get a batch, but Instacart wants you to go to a different Grocery Brand A. The app will NOT allow you to start shop so that you can scan items and check out. Why are you telling people that they can do this? They can NOT do it. To make the most money is simple: You live in a huge city. That's it. That's the "secret" that no one tells you. If you live in a midsized city, you'll do decent, if you put in the hours, but you will NOT be getting $300 orders. That's the most ridiculous claim I've ever heard.

Tell people the truth. You make a lot of money if there are orders worth a damn, and you hustle. That's it

WHAT AREAS DO YOU MAKE $100 + an order to shop? Where I’m at I’ll see $20s and $30s the most.

😢i only recieved 1 order all week. Hoping when i get the physical card next week theyll start adding stores like sams club and publix. I did all the training and 50qt cooler approval and everything. Only thing i didnt do was the alcohol training to deliver alcohol. I became alittle weary listening to the video. Apparently i have to get someones id, make sure its legit and the person im delivering to and also scan the card and a whole lot of other mess that sounds as if it could easily get my locked up. So since i dont drink i have no problem not delivering alcohol. Just wish i could get more than 1 order. All week and only one was this morning for $12 with a $1.58 tip which is probably the only reason it was offered to me. No one else takes jobs with tiny tips. I dont care as much for the tip as long as im getting enough orders to pay my bills.

Don’t let anybody scare you off! In 2023 June I made $240 in one day starting at 7 am taking 2-3 1.5 breaks. if I took no breaks I would have made $350 on a random TUESDAY?? I just go back to the same store the whole day. I’m so grateful for the extra income.

How does the return policy work? I’m confused I feel like it would be unproductive to return to a customers house days later and go back and fourth from the store. Im just trying to understand because I started working today and have completed 2 orders so far.

Thanks to Gratecyber I had a 326 order from Sam Club last night. A friend of mine hit a 458 and another friend had a 500. l'm in the Los Angeles area btw and l've hit a good amount of 100 orders in a given month all thanks to the big man

That not fair that ic decreases a tip because we have to refund an item.. also too customers are always adding items in mid shopping so that takes me even longer and I don’t like to double back when cus customers take too long to respond if I’m in isle 2. And message you about an item not here don’t text 10 min later when I’m isle 20 or checkout line..

I’ve been doing Instacart for over 5 years now and I love it. I did notice a change the batches as far as pay. Back in 2018 Instacart was booming.

I listen to the advice in this video, and I’m at Gold star status in two weeks. The advice about choosing a Store closer to you rather than going to the one further out was a game changer. I did not know until this video that I could go to a different store than what the app suggests

diamond seems worse than gold lol but platinum is horrible but i saw more batches on gold then i do as diamond iv done 2200 orders and 1200 batches make about 1000$ a week working full time 30-35 hours a week if you put in the time its a good job horrible side gig tho great full time job

I just started and I've noticed if I hit produce first it takes longer to shop. It seems like everyone in town has to get produce too. No matter what store I'm in it's always so crowded that produce takes me half hour to an hour. So I think I'm going to start doing produce items second to last. Right before frozen if I can sometimes when I'm leaving the store the section is empty
