When Sr. P died he already had redeption...maaaaaybe When Adam died he already the "downfall" and re-manifest as a demon
ОтветитьI doubt it's going to happen, but one possibility is the introduction of Samael into the cast. Lucifer and Samael usually fulfil the same role in different interpretations, but the series has left enough room for both. Especially since his role was to be chief of the destroying angels and head accuser. Admittedly, this does mean Adam was more or less filling a role in his absence. But I could see a story where Lucifer ruling Hell is originally more of a built-in safety measure from having Samael having access to annihilate them all. Might also explain the general absence of the more powerful angels if they're trying to keep him in check.
But that's just my wild, pie in the sky fantasy.
So your last argument.
Was it ever stated when the first extermination happend ?
If it was 4000 years ago id agreed - also would make sense why most characters are apparently born in the 1900.
But remember that the last extermination also killed 16% of hell - as mentioned in ep2 or 3 I think.
That is a massive amount in one day so I can see why no one ever thought of fighting back.
If the first only happend ~100 years ago with increase in global population, and for that for Hell, that would also make sense.
100 years ago 2 Billion people lived worldwide, now we are at almost 8.
For the discussion that the show takes place today - Smartphones, hell would technological develop in similar speed than earth i recon.
This finale has so many things wrong.
impossible-to-win battle: was so easy only had two causalities a pet and a secondary character and he even died,
Lucifer: his daughter was so important "more than anything" he said, but he decided to reveal himself after she almost got killed several times
The Way to kill the Angels: is just a joke and shows a lack of creativity.
the death of the antagonist: after creating an amazing villain, very well explored, but with a lame death, kill him with the weakest and less relevant character, even after he defeated easily the most powerful character on hell's side
Even the search for allies was more focused on the struggles of the protagonist's relationship
This looks like was written and animated by different people. At least the disappointment will keep my expectations low for next season.
I really hope for a plot line in which Adam becomes a sinner and learn what it feels like to be on the other side, there is a lot of room for character development there
ОтветитьWhat if Alastor didn't make a deal with Lilith but Eve and Alastor has to kill Lilith because Eve is jealous that she was able to escape Adam and Marry Lucifer. This would explain why Lilith went to heaven it was to escape Alastor and Alastor disappeared to try to bring Lilith out of hiding. Once Alastor realized Lilith wasn't coming back he went to Charlie to see if she could lure out Lilith.
ОтветитьWell, as for the last query, no one knew that the angels could be killed, so why fight someone immortal when you can hide?
ОтветитьI love that the snake and apple on Lucifer’s hat is actually his halo in his demon form.
ОтветитьThe lovers quarrel between Charlie and Vaggie were definitely the weakest link in the season. They have too much history of Vaggie being supportive to justify Charlie feeling betrayed in any way. "oh no, my girlfriend didn't share every little nook and cranny of her personal life to me. She's so terrible"
ОтветитьIt wasn't that Eve smashed Lucifer it was a reference to the fact Lucifer had offered her the apple and she accepted it. The motion after was just to piss Adam off with a "get fked" sort of taunt.
ОтветитьWell, remember these facts for your theories.
* The fact that only Angelic Steel can harm the Exorcists in the first place is part of why they never fought back. This knowledge was never known until Carmilla did it accidentally 6 months prior.
Otherwise the Sinners would have had no chance in Hell to even attempt to defend themselves. They've only ever ran away during the extinction.
* Think of the Extinction more of a Fox Hunt for the Exorcists than actual battle. Blow the horn, scatter the prey and go to town on 'em. Just mindlessly slaughter them.
* And we already saw why the Exorcists were able to be fended off as well as they were. They're Hunters, not Fighters. Their entire mentality is "stab stab stab" instead of "Parry - Parry - Thrust" they're horrendously terrible at fighting. Everything Carmilla was telling Vaggie was running all too true. As soon as their weaknesses were so glaring, of course they were massacred by the dozens.
I think I know why the sinners never tried to fight back maybe because they were never told they could😮
ОтветитьHere me out ok Adam gets reincarnated as a sinner
ОтветитьBummer, was really hoping Alastor WAS Lilith... but guess they're going with "Alastor is under Lilith's control"... Lame. Would actually been fun to have had Alastor being lilith and pulling the strings to make sure his daughter hates her father more AND taking out her ex.... Oh well.
ОтветитьA wierd one off thought what if alastors deal with charlie is for when lilith returns to hell possibly to use it to liliths advantage or maybe rebel against lilith
ОтветитьADAM. ADAM is the reason they haven't fought back. Alastor couldn't even beat him so most if not all overlords would be done for. Alongside the fact that without Alastors shield(a feat seemingly only he could do) they would've all died much faster as they all started dropping bricks the moment it went down. It's clear that in a normal battle the Angels take it but giving the demons and overlord of Alastors caliber alongside someone like Charlie who is probably just as strong if not stronger than Alastor would STILL not be enough to stop Adam. As he PERSONALLY ran through them both. His army doesn't help things though as anything less than a fellow exorcist or overlord is easy pickings for them. Mind you they only won because of Lucifer. The King of Hell and a Seraphim. Only other options hell could MAYBE have to stop Adam would've been the other Princes but well. That probably wouldn't happen.
ОтветитьIf Sir Pentious can die again and go to Heaven, can Adam (originally a mortal human, not an angel) die again and go to Hell?
ОтветитьMore sinners could have tried fighting back but without angelic steel they wouldn’t be able to do anything to them. Carmilla said Angelic steel isn’t common also. Probably even less common within any year below overloads
ОтветитьDid anyone else catch the part where alastor said "unclip my wings"? This has an even deeper meaning now that we know that Lilith was hiding out in heaven
Ответитьhazaah to general pentious thy hath been redeemed!
ОтветитьMy gues for season 2 and it's main plot;
(Main plot); charlie and her friends got trial for murder of Adam and must fight back in heaven court (possibly a higher authority then the one back in ep 6) while trying to keep the Hotel together.
1; Lilith will sabotage her own daughter hotel just to stay in heaven.
2; Alastor use his deal with charlie against her.
3; new character.
“Why didn’t they rebel before?” They probably did, but without angelic steel, they couldn’t put an angel down for good. Several years of failure resulted in word going around about invincible angels, overlords having risked so much to rise to power not wanting to try their luck, and so it leaves the common rabble to run in fear.
ОтветитьSinners never knew they could fight back. It wasn't until Carmilla was pushed into a corner that she found that Angelic Steel could not only kill Sinners, but Angels as well. This information was very new (the extermination from the Pilot episode) and Carmilla even chose not to disclose this information fearing even harsher exterminations should the Sinners decide to fight back.
ОтветитьI felt Hazbin Hotel is very focused on certain aspects while leaving some crucial world building vague for purpose of flexibility, and they use the justification of "it's Hell, so deal with it" a bit too much for their jokes to land. Similarly, the show tries to tackle some very dark subjects but ends up solving them half-assedly with song and dance numbers, much like Steven Universe, and like Steven Universe, falls short of actually giving characters some growth and resolutions. Hazbin Hotel season 1 really felt like just a convoluted plot to justify a cool fight scene at the end, but no real meaning was gained from it all.
Ответитьwhy didn't you even mention Pent's heroic death😭
ОтветитьSomeone has to pay? But verbalace already did 🤨?
Ответитьfor sure we haven't seen the last of Adem, he is awakening in hell. If Sir Pentious can awaken in heaven, than the inverse is true too. Awakening as a demon/devil in hell or an angel in heaven has been described in the show as "a second life" so that life could be judged separately than the 1st mortal life. So in theory if you redeem yourself as a sinner, or in Adem's case sin as an angel, then get merked you end up where you deserve. sinners who sin keep getting revived as immortal souls in the rings of hell to die again as a form of punishment, unless they are redeemed.
I think Alaster is a former angel sinner also, it might explain why he is so powerful. he has some connection to why Lillith is in heaven. Sinner Adem might shake the power struggle of Alaster vs the Vs. He might be just as horrifyingly powerful as Al was when he 1st awakened in hell. its going to be good.
If hell js forever then heaven must be a lie
ОтветитьDid anyone notice that Alastor said he almost died for his friends will simultaneously looking shocked?
ОтветитьSuch a random and minor nitpick, but I wish Lucifer would swear less. Making him similar to Alastor in the manner in which he'd pick his moments to use profanity.
Or maybe Vivzie wanted to make some of his lines cringey like watching one's dad try to do something cool, which is how I felt watching him fight Adam.
I wonder who actually enforces the deals Alastor makes. It could just be binding magic or something similar but I wonder how that actually works and what the ramifications could be for Charlie if she isn't able to uphold her part of the deal
ОтветитьI'd love to see Adam become a sinner and have to go through the hotel to be redeemed but him being stuck in his ways keeps him there
ОтветитьI seriously think that since Charlie is the heir to hell once she inherits hell Alastor will ask her to hand over the responsibility to him so he can finally free himself from whoever has him on a leash and “pull all the strings” as he puts it himself
(I haven’t seen any of his latest videos yet so if he came up with this theory already I apologize)
my guess is propaganda had a part to play in it, as much like the angels, the sinners likely did not know the angels could be killed and thus assumed they were invincible
Ответитьseemed pretty clear to me that vaggie being an angel was not the issue, it was keeping it a secret and not telling her that was the issue/problem
ОтветитьWhen I heard a line that Sir Pentious made an ultimate sacrifise I had this strong tingling this will put him into Heaven. And was so happy to see that was the thing that does it.
As for the question of why sinner never rebelled before it's a case of learnt helplessness. If you don't believe you can stand for yourself, you will not stand for yourself.
No, I think Carmilla‘s explanation makes sence. Of course sinners would rather go against their own or weaker people than against the actual army that attacks them. Extremely common in real life, too. Part of that logic is even in Charlie‘s very idea.
ОтветитьAbout the Sinners not having rebelled before, I think that is more the fear of the Angels then a real threat. I mean, no one in hell ever mention wanting to rise up against heaven, not the overlords, Lucifer or even Lilith. If the extermination wouldn't have been a thing, none of them would even think about leaving hell. The whole thought behind the redemption is something Charlie came up with because of the extermination, to safe her people from dying.
Most Sinners we have seen are quite content with their faith, even enjoying it. Yes, many suffer after having sold their soul to an overlord but as long as they do as they are told, they can live as they want to.
It's really the Angels setting themselves up for trouble in their fear of loosing power.
Hope they slow the pace down. Season 1 felt very rushed.
ОтветитьI personally think that the sinners didn't originally fight back due to the psychological trauma that the exterminations have posed. It's a similar concept to animals often fearing humans, although in a fight they might come on top. Also, it is most likely just the fact that no one knew that angels can be killed
ОтветитьVaggie isn't short for Vagatha it's short for Vagina 💀
ОтветитьI get that Adams a douche bag but if I lost two girlfriends to the same guy, I would be pissed too bruh
ОтветитьAlistor probably has a deal, wirh lilith so he is trying to get charlie to undo it maybe by his deal
ОтветитьGUYS!!!! I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING!!!!
Sir Pentious being the first redeemed Soul in Heaven has a poetic meaning to it. A snake was what caused the first beings/souls to fall from Heaven into Hell, and a SNAKE was the first soul in Hell to be sent BACK to heaven. It all comes full circle.
adam was ended by a woman stabbing into him. Perfect.
ОтветитьI’m of the Roo and Eve are the same person theory. And Alastor sold his soul to Eve/Roo. You see the opening cutscene of Eve and the apple she’s smiling a sinister smile.
ОтветитьWhile it's sad Sir Pentious died and became Sir RePentious,
He looked amazing in his Captain Crunch drip
