Best Case Scenario: It's ported to console but is KnM only.
Worst Case Scenario: They port it over and simply drop a bunch of controls and mechanics to get everyone on the same playing field while also adding aim assist for the controller players.

They won't ever bring it to console. Luckily COD has brought out Warzone DMZ beta which is similar to Tarkov, except it is very bare-bones in the beta. Hopefully they will keep expanding on the game and make something like EFT.

All gaming should be on consoles Idek why gaming is so focused on pc when people pay hard earned money for a console specifically for gaming only to run at 30/60fps they could easily make consoles more powerful if they can make a pc as powerful as they do

They (the developers) have been saying its "planned" for release since at least 2019 still no real release date planned and from 2017 to now it's still technically in a beta release. 6 years and it's still not done on PC dont hold your breath for it coming to console. If it does it won't be until at least after the next gen consoles are released.

Personally. If tarkov was to come to console. I would assume it would hopefully be ps5 and series s/x only aswell as unless they can figure out controller key binds(very doubtful the game utilizes every key pretty much) I doubt you'll be able to actually play with a controller.

Ive played pc tarkov for a bit now and i think you can very easily fit all keybinds on a controller 10% of the keybinds i don't use and alot of people don't realize is you can make 1 button do 5+ different things and the new gen console can probably run medium graphics settings very easily

Alot of people would play this in console. Even a dumbed down version would work. COD MW2 is doing a realism mode themselves because if this game.

Just let the controller player bind their own keys. 3 types of binds, single press, long press and combo press. You could easily cover all the needed bindings.

Now that we have arma reforger on the series x there's less reason for escape from tarkov to not be on console. The only thing is that it would not be on the one or ps4 as their both keeping games behind in ways mostly because of power I'm sure.

With the PC market the way it is at the moment, its a smart move, its a smart move anyway really. You dont have to even optimize for controller, matter fact keyboard & mouse should be a requirement, consoles can utilize MKB no problem, Its good for everyone if the industry continues to move towards platform freedom. We just want to play good games with friends & make more, regardless of platform.

I live in hope, but every fps game I've played on console that was designed specifically for PC such as Dayz, Pubg, have been absolutely horrific.

Honeslty I would love console to have this, I have both pc and console but I have my real life friends on console & I’m always talking about wishing they can play with me to have a good time and just enjoy the game all together and if they actually do that would be dope !!! But I’m abit concerned about how it would work out because of the many keysbinds the game have so I do wonder how it would play out , especially key board vs mouse on this game 🧐

I've played tarkov for about 2 and a half years, I really hope it comes to console so more people can enjoy it, I would be very very very curious to see how you would fit that many key binds on a controller or maybe they would just drop 5 to 10 features or have button combos of up to like 4 buttons at a time 😂
