Gabriel great hanging out for dinner tonight and shooting the breeze. The two flyover structures are roadways that come out of that building which is now a parking lot. It's so the old city doesn't get gridlocked with cars. The security guards at the entrances to the Gurudwara are the Khalsa, spiritual soldiers. They'll pat you down (only if they think 🤔 you are suspicious enough or they don't like you) and ask if you're bringing in Alcohol, Drugs or Tobacco which are prohibited within the Gurudwara. Sikhs are pretty cool 😎 people. Quite a good number of Panjabi people are tall around 6 feet to 6 foot 4 inches tall. I'm 6 feet tall and felt like a shorty next to the 6 foot-four dudes 🤣. Keep doing your best 😎🙏🏻.
ОтветитьBeautiful ❤
ОтветитьYou should have tried the street food, Amritsar, and the rest of Panjaab has the best street food in the world. Traditional Panjaabi dishes such as tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, butter chicken, desi bakra (goat), sarson da saag (spinach curry where you add different meats), channe bhature (chickpea curry), daal mahkni, etc is Amazing in Amritsar, and even more so the dishes of Amritsar specifcially such as Ambarsari machi (fish) and Ambarsari kulcha (a type of spicy flatbreads).
ОтветитьTickets? This is the equivalent there of something like the Vatican or a church. As for security, as an American you should know that they also practice the 2nd Amendment as a requirement for the men, who carry knives.
ОтветитьYes it’s best to say you are North American or from the US …people in central and south America are a bit resentful when people from the US say they are from America….
ОтветитьAs I was watching this with my Chai and incense burning I thought, I wonder if Gabe will run into a fellow vlogger that knows him. A few seconds later Travelling Eddie appears and was thinking if he would run into you. Amazing what thoughts can do. Thanks again Gabe for showing us such wonderful adventures.
ОтветитьAmazing brother thx .
Zeck

ОтветитьIt's not Poonjab, but Paanjab. Pun rhymes with sun and bun. U is pronounced not only 'oo' as in put, but mostly 'aa' as in cut, but, run, gun, fun ....... PUNJAB. First a pun and then a jab! 😅😅
ОтветитьI like your videos first and then watch later 😊

ОтветитьIts impossible to have the country to stop hunking.
ОтветитьI thought southern Italy was dirty. Jesus, these people are ok just living amongst garbage. Disgusting. India and Africa should merge lmaol!
ОтветитьThe prophet of Sikhism was Guru Nanak Devji who was born near Lahore (now in Pakistan) and basically Sikhism brings out the best of Hinduism (minus the evil of the caste system) and sometimes Sikhism is reformed Hinduism
Ответитьholy man in Punjab are generally referred to as Sant (very much like Saint)
ОтветитьIndians all know America means North, Central, and South with so many countries! Just say California!
ОтветитьYes according to the rules men and women have to cover their heads with a bandana or scarf or turban (if the individual is a Sikh male and Dopatta if the individual is a female)
ОтветитьI know you're kind of ballin' now but how would you say prices in India have changed since covid? I hope the 80 cent thalis havent been nerfed, and I wonder what Om restaurant (100 NPR dhal bhat of course with enormous refill) in Katmandu city is charging these days.
I was there in 2017/2018 and can't wait to go back despite being preoccupied with biking absurdly far in latin America
Although the British called the temple Golden temple, it is not locally. It is called Harmandir Sahib. Its a place of worship for all Sanatani's, includes Sikhs,Hindus,Jains and Buddhists. More important for Sikhs and Hindus. We believe in the Guru culture from ancient times.
ОтветитьInteresting fact for you Mr. G. I Saw This Image Of A Tongue Of Goddess Kali, It Became The Rolling Stones Logo: Mick Jagger
ОтветитьRussia snd Putin, 2nd world joke 🇷🇺😂
ОтветитьInteresting city and Travelling Eddie was very cool.
ОтветитьAlso, you must try Amritsari Chhole (chick peas) kulche (a kind of bread) it’s very popular food in Amritsar.
ОтветитьGabriel, entry to all gurudwaras is free. Food is also free, it’s called langar. The only requirement is to cover your head. Hope you enjoy your trip to the golden temple.
ОтветитьHorns are honking all the time, it makes me stressed to see them.
ОтветитьI've never seen an Indian city this clean
ОтветитьDid the Hari Krishna guys try to sell you large colorful books for the coffee table?
ОтветитьGabe, are you anywhere near the tunnel collapse? 😲
ОтветитьWhy didn't you go inside the Golden Temple? Strange.
ОтветитьNot in the Himalayas anymore. Completely different scene, energy and vibes. I’m SO looking forward to your video of the Golden Temple!!! Bumping into a subscriber that you inspired to start his own channel- that was awesome!! Your channel reaches and inspires more people than you realize.
ОтветитьIf you go into nice suburbs like Ranjit Avenue and see how the people live, you would be surprised
ОтветитьThis is the frenzied India I remember when I visited, but I am kind of already missing that cool calm Himalayan vibe from your previous videos!
ОтветитьSo many travel bloggers out there but they can't beat Gabriel
ОтветитьHi from Arizona🌵
ОтветитьI wouldn't survive here
ОтветитьI think Itchy Boots was there a few weeks ago. Do you know her, Gabriel ? 👍😊🇮🇪🇮🇳
