When you aiming with a bow does time slow down for you ?
ОтветитьSwerved my. Question. Thanks
ОтветитьWhat bow is that I'm looking for shoot through risers.
ОтветитьVery very thanks
Ответитьyour @ power of 5 ?
ОтветитьSo it seems to me that compound aiming is harder than recurve? What do you think people?
ОтветитьIs it same to aiming with a red dot sight on a rifle? I have experience with firearms and curious about getting into archery. Any tips and tricks for that? Thanks.
Ответитьdang! I always thought that the FRONT sight ring should be in the inside of the PEEP hole, but it's the other way around. FML LOL
ОтветитьDidn’t mention the float and shaking while aiming either
ОтветитьDoes the string of the bow have to cut through the centre of the target? Does the string of the bow not get in the way of the sighting process? Would a transparent bow string be a good idea?
ОтветитьI wish my peep looked that big LOL. Peep, scope, aim point reticle or pins all centered over target, with consistent form and most importantly the follow through will get it there, unless a gust of wind has any say
ОтветитьFinally a good explanation
ОтветитьCould someone explain how the sights are accurate if the sight itself are above the arrow? I’ve tried looking it up but i’m pretty sure I’m wording it wrong because I can’t get any results lol. Very interested on how it works though, can’t figure it out.
ОтветитьThis is an "ah ha" moment.
ОтветитьGood try but this doesnt show good enough to aligning the peep with fron sight, peep is too smalla or too far from camera.
Ответить....I've been keepin my eye away from that "peep" sight, thinking I'd lose it if the string snapped lol!
Someone jus handed me a bow n said good luck...literally.
There are plenty of pullies, gizmos n gadgets all over the thing. All I wanna do is shoot targets n not lose my eye while I'm at it ;p
~runs off to try again
I'm surprised magnification is legal.
ОтветитьI see my Neighbor
Ответитьand thats why robin hood is just legend
ОтветитьThat’s really cool! Thxs for giving us an idea
Ответитьyou could still put a camera in the same place of your eye and show us what it actually is, but thats explained.
ОтветитьThank you very interesting i always thought you just used the lens with the dot
ОтветитьBunch of Robin Hood’s in the comment section. I’m sure you are all champion archers.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьI do archery but I like barebow. Barebow only needs 20 yards or so to be challenging.
ОтветитьYa ya whatever. From the caliper release to let off, and all that aiming crap, kitschy compound bows are for people with no real archery talent.
ОтветитьAll I see are a bunch of training wheels
ОтветитьSeems a bit like cheating to have such an accurate and complex aiming system. Should have an event with no scopes at all old school style, really check out the men from the boys.
Ответитьthat is so cool to have optics or sights on a bow like that
ОтветитьI think it's a shame that you didn't go into the complications of keeping both eyes open, either seeing a double image of the target, or a double image of the sight, depending on which one you focus on.
ОтветитьThere-in lies the rub! In other words getting all three points lined up on center of target face ( the peep, the dot on the lense and target center) and having the release activate all at the same time. Many factors prevent ANYONE from holding the bow perfectly still ( wind and muscles) on the center of the target. The dot will "float" around in various patterns usually and timing the release activation to coordinate with the dot in the middle of the target is where practice is invaluable. Your brain must learn all this and it takes thousands of shots to keep this reinforced in your brain. There is no MUSCLE MEMORY as muscles DO NOT HAVE MEMORY CAPACITY. You're training your brain to send signals to the nerve system in the muscles is why we need to continually practice. IMO
ОтветитьI learned that look through your Peepsight and do not move
ОтветитьGreat explanation. Thank You !!!!
ОтветитьWith all those mods, you'd might as well just use a rifle, or get good at barebowing. Historic archers didn't need all that crap to hit their mark lol.
In modern times, humanity overcomplicates everything....
Over 2,000 years ago in Ancient Greece, a man named Eratosthenes, who was the head of the library of alexandria, not only proved the earth was round, but calculated the exact circumference of it using 2 sticks and a shadow... he was only 75 kilometers off, which is negligible to the 40,075 km circumference of earth....
2,000 years later, after spending billions upon billions of dollars, and using high tech equipment like gps satelites, humanity rediscovered what a man figured out with 2 sticks... 2,000 years ago. Lol
A master archer in historic times, would not only barebow, but hit targets far quicker, with consistent accurately, while holding all their arrows in their firing hand.
Thank you that was tremendously helpful👍😀
ОтветитьNo offense to anyone that enjoys it but not matter how many sites you put on a bow it will never be as accurate as you want it to be. Arrows flex way too much so it is nearly pointless to have sites that precise. The best and most practical archery is hunting which requires precision but not an unrealistic amount from a bow and arrow.
ОтветитьAm I underestimating it or does it look simple and not that hard to aim..?
ОтветитьI assume you have a clarifier lens in your peep?.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьWouldnt they go a little up bcuz the scope is higher than where they are shooting from and also the arrow can go down while mid air
ОтветитьInteresting contrast between the modern tech and the ancient weapon.
ОтветитьSo. its similar to the Sight system on the M1 Garand right?
ОтветитьCan't wait to move to compound from recurve
ОтветитьExplaination is not clear... Will i see the two girls when I'm aiming too?
ОтветитьI keep schooting left even if i set my scope better and actualy perfect but it always is left and my bubble is always good so does annyone know what i can do (also my outlining is good my coach said)
Ответитьwhat if you don't have peep sight =D
ОтветитьI see on other archery tutor sites that the recommendation is that you can see the full scope ring through the peep? This clip doesn't appear to endorse that??
ОтветитьThis is the clearest and most visual explanation I’ve seen so far, fantastic job!
