I question if the whole "High school bully engaged to my brother" story is even real because that almost seems way too close to the plot of that movie You Again lmao.
I mean, granted, it could still happen, but...

Definitely interesting to watch, and see some I hadn't already seen, along with Shayne goofy intros. I will say I return to the story where Shayne, Damien & Noah were so heartbroken for the 13 year old girl who got her period on a family cruise and her father just didn't get how cruel he was being. So I'm surprised it wasn't in this marathon.

I skipped a funeral for the MCR reunion tour but I had everyone's blessing before I could even ask. Gerard way ending with cancer hit hard that night

I said it in the original video and I wanna reiterate on balding:

Being bald vs bald"ing" are VERY different experiences. And even though it's common, hair is one of the most visible and first-to-notice things about you. And tends to be part of your identity and self-expression. And when you're in your early twenties, the chances are good that you're the only person in your circle who's balding. It can be so scary to come to terms with something that's visible. Something that people may use as not only a metric of attractiveness, but also as an indication of potential health, wealth and self-care. With something that doesn't match your identity or your self-expression. It can feel shameful.

Depending on your culture and geography, it might be also be seen as an indication of your social class, background, and eligibility for marriage.

Like with any insecurity, ultimately if the person can work through it and be comfortable and free with themselves that would be ideal and excellent. At the same time, in most cases, knowing you're part of a statistic, or hearing others (especially others who don't suffer the same thing you do) tell you that it's a normal thing likely doesn't help, and might worsen it if it feels like you're being pitied.

Add onto all of that the layer of toxic masculinity that's extremely common around the world. Potential personal history or trauma. And the fact that to a lot of people, especially younger people, balding doesn't look normal on someone so young. And you have a compounding and self-feeding circle of things that can be extremely damaging.

None of this is a comment on the story they talked about. Just on dealing with the process of balding. Especially for men. Especially at a young age.

As a person with a yt dad and black mom, i had almost no melanin until about 7 when i got swim lessons and started spending summers outside. Im confidently brown now but at 4 could pass. He could be an awful dad AND be wrong about how mixed his son looks later.
