Prob the best video I’ve even seen on mlm. When I was in college I got involved with Herbalife and later on max gxl. I remember writing a paper in college about something to the effect of how mlm is a methodology that takes advantage of your personal relationships

MLM’s are only good for the people at the absolute top. Everyone else loses. Some of the products are actually ok but as far as making money, it’s unlikely.

I remember my aunt having amway products in the late 70’s-80’s. Shows how long MLM’s have been going.

As someone who has done mlm twice with 2 different companies

In Amway, it's the "tools business" is where the big money is that is only available to the "king pin" distributors. I was involved when I was in college back in the early 1980's when they sold cassette tapes to their downline for $7 per tape and the cost to the king pin distributors was less than a dollar. The big pins took advantage of many people. The tools business is behavior modification that creates a "habit" and builds "loyalty" in order for the upline to control the "Ambots"

There's one time, an old friend called me and say that he want to meet up and chat, and he also bring a friend that is interested in young hustler like me. So, i sincerely came after work, trough the hell of Jakarta's afternoon traffic, just to have a good time with an old friend.

Never trust anyone with a business proposition that starts with too many motivational speech. Because if their products or services are any good, then they would be explaining to you why it is good. How it is better than the competition. What is innovative about it. They will send you clear summary of figures and believable ROIs. If they start with shit like "Achieve financial freedom" , walk the fuck away because first, their product is most likely shit, and it is some pyramid scheme. Oh and most MLM products are shit.

Affiliate Marketing is not better than MLM too. If I can promote something, that I have never used and touched, what's the point? imo there should always be an entry level, so you can test and then make a decision whether it's a good product or not. Overall good content. 💪

The exact same situation, with almost 100% accuracy happened to me. Ran into a friend there in the "meetings" and thank God rescued him from these bazaar lies.

Something that caught my attention was the fact that they sell freedom, more free time with your family, they usually show themselves as rock stars (I could not stand it) even though I a bunch of people were faking it until they make it. It was like sort kind of crazy church.
Supposedly the people at the top were making 6 and 7 figures, but they always wanted more and more, even though the were not in the best physical shape. (They look really out of shape) This did not make any sense to me. 😵‍💫

MLMs always take it vantage of new generations of people.

It is called Network marketing. What does that tell you? Previous customer finds the product/service and it's business worth referring to others. As this chain of recommendations grow, it forms the network of marketers. You have tried to say negative things as bloggers seeking for traffic. There are countless videos with positive reviews too making their traffic aw well

You can spot the cult members of MLMs in the comments from a mile away. There’s a reason the same tactics used to help get a family member out of a cult are the same strategies recommended to get someone out of a MLM.

These pyramid schemers/ MLM tell you to get out of the rat race while introducing you to another. They’ve all tried to recruit me too, Kleeneze that was based in the UK years before social media. Then Forever Living and Herbalife. They’re all the same though they claim to be different. MLM are synonymous with pyramid schemes from what I’ve seen. It’s all about recruiting an endless chain of recruits, down line lose while those at the top earn the most. There’s no outside sales or record keeping. The sales comes from their recruits

Pyramid Schemes CAN AND OFTEN DO have products.... They're called MLMs... This may be a finer point but it bears importance.... You can't be a pyramid scheme without recruitment but you don't need a product.... You can't be an MLM without recruitment and can't be without a product either, but you'll always end up being a pyramid scheme....

This is very interesting, but a lot of this is not based on facts. Speak on specifics and avoid generalized statements so your audiemce can make an educated decision.

This is why the “wholesale membership club” model is changing this industry for the better. It’s sad mlm has created for itself a very untrustworthy system and rightly so. Preying on the emotions and wallets of so many people. People are cautious and leary, and as always, buyer beware!

MLMs and Ponzi schemes are very prominent throughout the Mormon community. It's always "someone in my ward got me into this."
