If a person gets fuller and Botox to corners of mouth and marionette lines ; can radio frequency and micro needling be done (if this was part of skin care routine prior) or will these procedures inactivate the fuller and Botox? Thank yoy

I was told because I smoke and drink from a straw, I have these 2 wrinkles on either side of my mouth. I'm 60 years old, and I don't have ANY wrinkles except for those 2 wrinkles. So..this Tuesday, for the first time, I'm getting injections!! 😊

Botox and fillers won't work on my frown lines. Guess I'd better start saving money. Would also maybe consider a lip lift, as my fulcrum (sp?) is getting longer with age...small lips too.

My doctor told me that he couldn’t fix my RBF and that I was pretty much stuck with it. I want this so badly.

Hahaha! Yes exactly ( Resting bitch face!) I was in my teens and people at school would ask me why I was always mad or grumpy lol! I would say to them that it was my resting normal face and that I couldn't go around with a permanent forced smile plastered on all day.

isn't botox at one muscle causing minor paralysis to one side of the mouth and causing you to talk lopsidedly?thanks for the honesty, doc

How long do the fillers last?

I had an in-house nitrous oxide tank installed and I take about 30 hits an hour. That did the trick.

I often get people who I don't know chuckling at me, I think it's because I look grumpy when my face is resting.

I need so much help. But unfortunately can't afford it. I have RSF (resting SAD face), definitely getting it from my mother. It's bothering me so much... Puts a real damper on living! No one wants to date or hire somebody who looks sad or bummed - or old and tired! - all the time. 😞
I heard that injecting in the DAO is extremely tricky and can cause people to have trouble eating and other issues. I also heard other surgeons say fillers in that area isn't the best remedy either, but don't remember why.

Expensive and one must renew the botox every six months. Notice how the before and after photos differ in saturation of the photo, makes the latter much more attractive. Not to mention the patient smiles!

Same 😄 I kind of have hooded eyes and then sad lips and jawlers ☹..I always try to do extra smile or happy 😃 voice hey!! Or laugh 😃 because..because if I don't they think something it's wrong,sad or a mean person 🙁☹😠..I'm planning to get skin thighting and buccal fat to help with the jawls because I'm still kind in the young age 30 to get a mini lift to help with my loose cheeks and jawls..Hopefully it works skin thighting in that areas..I'll update in the summer

Dr you never talk about facial exercises, i have experienced a lot of difference after practicing it.

I would love to have done a minor surgery to fix it, but I wonder; if it is overactive and too strong muscles pulling the corners down, why can’t we exercise and strengthen the muscles that turn the corners of the mouth up? Is it possible?

My frown has been upside down for over 30 years how can it be fixed and how much is it being a pensioner? Thanks

Hi doc I have a problem my lips were stitched and the are imbalanced now

I am 29 years old and I went for a consultation for this same reason with someone local. Mine are barely there but I wanted to perhaps prevent them from getting worse. The lady suggested kybella. I have been getting Botox for a year now with someone else. Was she way off? Is that even an option?
