But it doesn't work. I would be impressed if you actually removed the valve and inspected it. " more molecules" actually pulled the valve out to show the degrees of dirtiness...put the valve back and used a "spray cleaner" and then pulled the valve off again. There was no improvement to be seen.

Using flammable liquid. Do you think after it detonated there's any product left to do anything or has it added a biproduct to your egr. deisel itself is a pretty good lubricant to clean parts with. Yet its biproduct leaves a black chalk like substance called carbon you used a products biproduct am just wondering if you thought about that

Sorry am a missing somthing. You sprayed the cold side wich will mibbe clean your injectors as it goes threw intake but it's being detonated as fuel b4 it'll ever touch egr, am sorry but it all sounds the business but your not thinking clear on process here, the only way to clean it especially that engine is to remove throttle body intake to get to the metal corrugated pipe that blows gasses back threw intake, fluid won't go down that pipe to the egr the gases recirculated back from egr to intake, the fluid is used to dissolve carbon and soot. Its that pipe that chokes up, trust me a know av done many. Only way to really clean is to remove and spray scrape spray scrape but the corrugated pipes a dog to clean it has a nozzle that inserts in the intake wich has 3 holes at the end these block up eventually and get heavily sooted through out, usually use wire rods to break it up, but honestly you never done a thing but clean injectors mibbe iat sensor but it'll still be gunked up.. do it right

Did it work then? Did it fix the engine light coming on with the EGR fault code? I reckon you'd have a very slim chance of a spray into the intake actually removing enough carbon to resolve the engine light.

Good way to destroy your motor doing this. All the loose crap will go straight into your engines upper cylinder. The only way is to remove the inlet and put in the hours off cleaning it.

This is bull💩💩💩💩 only way to clean EGR valve properly is removal, these sprays are just short term fix, it may turn engine light off but ultimately it will come back on & then it is work for mechanic if you are not proficient in vehicle engines !!

2 things : Should have showed the difference after a 10 minute idle- Then you should have drove it for 15 minutes on the highway or at least 40mph and then show the difference again

Don't do this because your car engine will start knocking and it will cause damage to your engine.

Two things. One, as soon as you get your intake reassembled, go for a drive, it's best to do a decent 15 minutes at highway speeds to burn up any of the EGR cleaning fluid that's left as residue.
Two, those cleaning sprays work best preventively. That means if you want your diesel engine to last for ages, start doing this every 20 to 30 thousand km from new. If you've bought a second hand diesel, pay to have the intake and EGR valve cleaned, then use this spray to keep it from clogging back up. Or don't, it's your car.

I would hve also cleaned the MAP sensor.

Turbo, theoretically, you clean a little, it will help if the blades are in good condition, the EGR is from the other side
