Gpu - gigabyte Rtx 3060ti eagle 8gb
Psu - gigabyte ud850gm pg 80+ gold
Case - Be quiet pure base 500dx black
Ssd - samsung 990 pro PCie4 1tb

would ddr4 3600 memory be better than ddr4 3200?

Wow I goofed; I haven’t built one in ten years and decided on a this cpu (at this price I couldn’t not considering where I’m coming from) a Msi b760m-a and DDR 4 Corsair vengeance LPX 2x16 3600

Benchmarks show that the 12gen i3 12100 out performs the Ryzen 5500 by far.

I have a question, what is a better choice? An RX 6600 or a RTX 2060 Super for the i3-12100F?

I really like the fact that you explain everything in detail. I understand this is the best budget build but I don't agree with all the parts. I'm from South Africa and my pc is going to cost about 15k or 750$-800$ if I convert it. It includes an ATX motherboard which is way better than mATX(which in my opinion is the biggest load of crap) , RX6600, 12100f, 16GB 3600MHZ RAM and a 750W PSU. The reason for this is that when I upgrade something in the future I won't need to upgrade almost everything because I decide to go for the best budget build at the time. I think this is something to include in videos so that people know what the consequences for the future is when you go for a build like this.

Hi i am building my 2nd pc.
I am going from an i5-4690 8gb ram and igpu to the following specs:
i3-12100f 88usd
Rx6700xt 265usd
Gigabyte B760 134usd new
16gb ddr4 ram 2x8 40usd
700watts for 32usd
Note that this build is all used except motherboard without ssd and hdd as i will be using my old one. What do you think should i use this combo for 1440p gaming.
Edit: reason i am using b760 motherboard is because I'll be upgrading in future to an i5-13th gen.

Having this cpu for like almost half a year now paired with 8 gigs of RAM and RX 470. Everything runs pretty well.

A few days ago i upgraded our pc from a 3470 to a 12100 and i can confirm it is a phenomenal processor for those looking for value per cost. For comparison, generating a new world in minecraft used to take around 90 seconds; now it's only about 10 to 15 seconds before you're in the world!

Yesterday i bought the i3-12100F from Newegg for $85. Today it was up to $100. I also got the ASRock RX 6600 Challenger 8GB from Newegg for $200

Ive seen how fast the 12100f is and im amazed, but lets say ill be using an rx6600 and will be playing games with a few other apps open, namely discord and a few browser tabs open, between a 12100f and a r5 3600, which do you think would do better? As with my current set up, with an i5 4570 and an rx 470, the intensive games i play get stuttery when anything other the game itself is running

Hi i got a question i got i3 12100f and motherboard GIGABYTE H610M H DDR4 - Intel H610 stock cooler and a be quit power 10 550 watts 16 gigs of ram and my question is that i am scared of what nvidia graphic card can the motherboard handle something like 1660s or 2060

I have built the same intel platform with the Asus Prime H610M-K D4, 16 gigs if ram (kingston fury 2x8), second hand sapphire RX 590, a 650 watts thermaltake PSU, a Thermalright assassins x120 CPU cooler with RGB. I mounted it in an old thermaltake case I already have with some case fans. It works smooth with every game. The only thing it that the GPU looks like is too old for the new RE 4 remake, can't handle the fog and everything looks darker, aside from that can run every single game.
