Comparing a $6 simulator to a $600 sim is totally fair ...
ОтветитьWhat GPU ur using
Ответитьand having LFM now in AC is just the BEST THING!
Ответитьnothing makes less sense than ACC brakes working like shit, while AC brakes actually work like brakes.
ОтветитьAverage number of players:
Assetto Corsa: 8100 😊
iRacing: 150 😟
Driving:
Assetto Corsa: Like a real car 🙂
iRacing: Bobsled 🤣
Price:
Assetto Corsa: $13 When in promotion for the Ultimate Edition (all cars and tracks) 😃
iRacing: ~$13 for a single car, ~$13 for a single track + an infinite subscription fee of $6 per month 😮
iRacing is useless with AC included in LowFuelMotorsport. AC ist so much better. Best Racesim until now.
ОтветитьI have a basic Thrustmaster T150 pro so I bought the game thinking that they were from the same era and my wheel would be listed. Unfortunately the wheel base is not in the setting listl. Is there a mod?
ОтветитьThere is races with rating system in the RaceU tab you just didn't search for one tab that's a rookie mistake
ОтветитьFor me the things that settle AC1 as my favourite sim is being able to drive whatever I want, wherever I want, with extremely dynamic feeling cars
ОтветитьDo not forget that our habits enormously influence our experience, and our judgment.
ОтветитьCan we change Bar to psi on tires?????
Ответитьbad game
Ответитьthe way ac feels through the feedback compared to most the other games on the market is wild actually. at one point i could nearly drift limerock with my vr off my head lol
ОтветитьJust one creative input, time stamps would be helpful. I wish i could just skip to your summary if there is one
ОтветитьFact is acutaly AC is way more realistic than Iracing..
ОтветитьI use AC just to drive Nordschleife with different cars, as I can't afford going there with some nice car.
ОтветитьIn iRacing you have grip until you don't and it just snaps on you and 9 out of 10 times you can't recover from it. There are few cars which have great feedback but most of them just feel blunt.
ОтветитьI went from Assetto Corsa to iRacing for better competition and cleaner driving; however, I enjoyed the physics in AC just as much, and the force feedback was excellent!
ОтветитьThe way I've always seen it with 1500 hours in racing simulations/games:
1. ACC
2. rFactor
3. AC
4. AMS2
5. iRacing
The main way I've determined this is the way the cars handle and behave. iRacing has a dogshit physics system and is stupidly unrealistic in the grand scheme of things, they just have a monopoly on the multiplayer network. It's categorically the worst simulation racing game known to man, even Gran Turismo 7 is better for physics than iRacing is.
I am so torn... I mainly do rally and drifting (AC) and don't consider myself a track racer at all, but I've been committing to iRacing for months now because of the multiplayer system, because I don't have fixed playing hours and I like to have "fair" races any time of the day. But the handling feels soooo wrong, I hate the fact you have to memorize all the inputs rather than being able to drive reactively like you do in rally/drifting. Its sucks the fun out of the driving, and GT3 track racing is already the most boring of motorsports imo but it still offers that level of competitivity that is sometimes interesting.
ОтветитьPoor 5k sim racing boy
ОтветитьOh the kerb, so many times i got taken out just because the edge of the tyre slightly bumps at the very end the kerb where it merges and flattens to the track..
ОтветитьACC is better honestly
ОтветитьYou should play Grand Prix Legends
ОтветитьYou say that iRacing is the best simulator ever but watching this video I can tell that iRacing is only better on online racing.
ОтветитьiRacing = spend a shit load of money over and over on a game running an engine from a 2003
Assetto Corsa = buy the game and you can play it and mod it for free
Sorry i can only take a 5.1k rating driver seriously
ОтветитьPeople who play Assetto Corsa mostly care only about street cars, unlike those elitist iRacing drivers who tell others to always be strictly 'competitive' and insist that all sim drivers should only drive GT race cars. They don't understand that some of us just want to play AC to chill and relax, not always wanting to be competitive racers.
Ответитьwarns that carnage is about to begin, clearly trying to depreciate the quality of online races outside iRacing... proceeds to promote the carnage in turn 2... dude.
ОтветитьOf the two real life GT3 drivers I've asked it's been AC as best sim. Both have mentioned that their team sim setups are custom versions of AC.
Ответитьac is so much better in every way
ОтветитьFair video. I think iRacing is more mathematical - that is, you're approaching a corner as if you're adjusting parameters on a formula. 20% throttle with a 10 degree angle steering will get you so far.
From my experience with karts, it's just like that. And I wonder what AC's driving and catching mid-corner influences your tires. I believe even rf2 rewards smoother driving.
I have noticed though, that iRacing's tires make me trust IRL tires less.
I would have been playing whyRacing.....MAYBE, if ACC never came out. I love ACC and love setting up my own races on the first Assetto.
Ответитьi think online ac isnt that bad sice you can also cruise with custom cars ang a huge variety of tracks
ОтветитьAssetto Corsa is amazing.
Sorry..... Iracing is nice but ACC is amazing.
I race in gokart and i know what is realistic race.
God bless your heart, man. You're the only English-speaking simracer I can stomach. Wait, that came out wrong. I enjoy your content (and opinions) and cannot stomach pretty much anyone else! :D
ОтветитьI think a little sarcasm would really spice up this channel.
ОтветитьOne of the strong point of iRacing is his pricing model. Just like an expensive rent tends to keep 95% of the special cases out of your building/neighbourhood/city, the monthly subscription keep away all the kids who think they are on wreckfest or blow a fuze as soon as you overtake them.
Not mentionning the protest/ban system in place to filter out the 5% remaining.
To me it was kinda the opposite. After trying out AC, I gave iRacing a try while barely knowing about the game. And the first few meters were like a revelation to me. It was crazy how I could feel the rear getting light and trying to sway one way or another while breaking to the limit. It really felt like real life.
To get a bit more out of the FFB I started using irFFB and honestly it's the best I've experienced so far.
But I haven't tried Rfactor yet, and from what I hear it's even better.
But I share your opinion on one point: iRacing is really punitive, and it's really easy to go beyond the grip treshold and get sent to the grass for it.
IRACING IS GARBAGE!
Ответитьwhy didnt you do ACC
Ответить"Hold back driving" is the perfect description of iRacing.
Ответитьiracing physics feels like its a game from 2003.
ОтветитьDamn, he doesn't even have the 2 point physics enabled and he's this impressed :)
ОтветитьWhat I didnt like about AC was the tires after you spon. After that you have to go very, very slow, because the tires are hot. And when you doesnt go slow, you will spin again.
IceRacing was a joke against this thing 🤣
