What most don't realize is that real poor people around the world look at normal Americans as being like the "real rich" people in these stories.😂

the crazy thing is RM 3000= about $650 USD, it's a lot for most Americans to just blow without caring, but it's not shocking that someone spends that much in one store. The difference in countries is so insane.

I’ve had a few wild ones bc of my career choice, but one from high school stands out. I was out with girls who owned horses, and they invited me to the stables. Me, not even being entirely comfortable around horses, assumed that we were going to look and all that. They came out all dressed in their equestrian digs, and they offered to get me a set. I was like “no please, I have never been on a horse.” And I’ve never been so ostracized in my life… and then one of the the girls was mad she had to drive me around in the golf cart bc I had never driven one.

STORY TIME: so my husband's best friend Josh's aunt hit 20 mil on the lotto well of course they bought a fancy house ect, but she would pay my husband a few hundred bucks a few times a week to come over and clean up dog crap all over her back porch because she wouldn't let the dogs go out in the yard most of the time.... at one point he was making $900 a week and didn't even have to work as a teenager (closer to 18).... it was crazy when he told me and I didn't know if I believed him till I met his friend Josh n he told me about it... she would invite all the kids (teens) friends to concerts and hand them out money for shirts merch ect.... Even booze... and didn't bat an eye.... TILL HER HUSBAND AND HER DIVORCED ... he remarried, she remarried and her husband at the time talked her into getting the buy out(BECAUSE HE WAS A DRUG ADDICT)(AND THERE SON ACCIDENTALLY CAUGHT THE HOUSE ON FIRE THEY WEREN'T SMART ENOUGH TO GET INSURANCE!!!).which was crazy because she would get paid the rest of her life. But anyway she took the buy out and then her ex husband died a few months later. Now if she wouldn't have taken the buy out she'd get her exs half too even if they were married to other people because they got the money together...well because of her buy out she null and void getting his half now his widow is living it up and she's(THE AUNT)squandered away all her money and all she has to show for it is a dodge charger from like 2008 or something like that....CRAZY CRAZY CRAZY. NOW SHE WORKS AT A LOCAL GAS STATION. SHES A NICE LADY IM NOT HERE TO BE MEAN TO HER OR ANYTHING. AT LEAST SHE GOT TO LIVE HER BEST LIFE FOR A FEW YEARS! I babysat for a close friend of my mom, her bf’s 5yo son was visiting from Canada. He was such adorably sweet kid & spent the whole time making up & singing songs about how much he loved his papa. When they picked him up she nonchalantly pulled a wad of cash from wallet to pay me, she insisted she’d forgotten to go to the atm & hoped what she had on her was enough. It was roughly $300 for a couple of hours.

So the caregiver who was taking care of the wealthy client? I mean, you obviously want to do your best because your patients deserve the best care you can offer. But if you are extra kind, there’s a chance they maybe remember you in the will. It does happen sometimes. 🤷‍♀️

I was on a trip from Jakarta to Istanbul last Oct. Sitting next to me were 2 babysitters for a toddler (yes 1 toddler). Parents and toddler were in business class. Every time he cried for whatever reason; the parents handed him to the babysitters. Then I was chatting them up, one of the babysitter told me that she already had a "travel plan", NY for New Zealand, April for Scandinavia (Norway and surrounding countries), and for May another Europe trip. I asked them where they were heading to, she told me Porto and with a stop in Switzerland. Whoaaaaa, life is good.

Had a insane rich person once come into town grocery store. They had snobby attitude yet we were dealing with them in a nice manner. It all stopped when he was checking out and he turned his head and sneezed on a person very deliberately. Long story short he wound up being run out of town. 😂😂😂

I used to love my previous job and the super rich middle eastern customers.

It was great, you would see the matron come in and do a lap of thw store, then leave.

The worst “rich” person is a woman who was poor and then managed to get a rich man to marry her. She then nickel and dimes the same people who are as poor as she was. Self-made wealthy people usually are very generous and well mannered.

My friend married a very wealthy person. After they bought a new home they bought a Vitamix, when they got it home her husband didn't like hope the color matched everything else so he threw it away to buy another one! She dug it out of the trash and explained that returning items is a thing.
