How do you reset the check engine light?

Just an FYI for Jeep/Chrysler owners: that code often times is simply the gas cap... but you may want to buy one from the dealer instead of a parts store like Autozone. I had a Wrangler, replaced the cap with one from AZ and the code came back. After a couple different tries.. I just went and bought a mopar one from a dealer and it cleared up. For some reason aftermarket gas caps don't always work
