I lost my cut delete fwd bwd because I had a trial version of FCPX. Now I realise how smart it was to have those shortcuts it saves SOOOOOO much time! Thanks for this video ☺

Sad thing is - this is default options in other editing softwares.

This is an excellent time saver which I’ve been doing for many years now and Final Cut. I even created a keyboard shortcut for opening up my viewer on my second monitor without having to click anything. Shortcuts are the best.

can fcp record video yet? Iv only seen antiquated firewire input import , that apple have now obsoleted, yet its the only option to record a video? with it work with HDMI to USB3 input convertors ?

Not quite sure why you need to use the Blade tool? Just trim to the playhead. Option left/right bracket...

just shot a commercial with the new A7SIII and PP cant even scrub the 4:2:2 10 bit and im having a hell of a time finding a proxy that will work smoothly...any suggestions ?

BEST TIP i found on internet. Just doing my edit way faster. And small tip from me - i set DELETE under D key - now you can delete part of clip without moving left hand :D - ThX @Peter
