johnny is a wierd case since we see his feats from his viewpoint and johnny is a egomaniac so we dont know if the johnny sections are accurate to what actually happened

Panam is the reason many people played this game so so should be in the Legend Tier too

Rogue should be higher since her cyberpunk 2020 stats say she got Two cyberoptics with IR, Low Lite, Targeting scope, Sandevistan boost, Karate chipped +3

Technically v is so good he could punch Adam smasher to death alone, with no implants other than his eye and hud palms if you the player tried hard enough

V in the books is something else

BioWare in the verse is actually really good. It costs more than most cyberware, but when using all of them you don’t go cyberpsycho, and are only SLIGHTLY weaker than having every legendary cyberware.

I want a anime of V yes we got his story in the game but I was a see it in a anime format we’re in sure emotions to the charatcers would be more attached etc also the story would feel much more better Imo

It’s actullay insane how much more special David actullay is more then V. V got pretty lucky let’s be honest while David Literally just one year prior he was one of the strongest charatcers already 💀 that is just a year imagine 2-3 he would of been the strongest character also he had ptsd and trauma which also makes it hard and i think it makes it so you have cyberpsychosis faster we also see this in game that trigger by emotions etc and in the anime to but yeah David just got unlucky that was all if Maine didn’t die or if he was careful just imagine the powerhouse he could of been

A reminder: bulletproof skin for all small fire arms is a COMMON and CHEAP upgrade (subdermal armor) and BASIC gorilla arms is calced at several times the power of an elephant per arm. (That’s In the game version, which is traditionally weaker than lore and edgerunners)

PERSONALLY I prefer enhancements from Bioware instead of cyberware. Individually they are slightly weaker than top tier chrome, but you can mix multiple together to be generally better, and even mix it with chrome.

According to the lore, it was Blackhand who lead the atk of AHQ. This following is not confirm but speculation base on Alt, the memory of Johnny showed to us is Johnny misremember the event and his narcistic attitude which make him believe, he is the main character and the story center around him.

I feel like Rogue, Saul, and Panam are a bit downplayed.

While Rogue and Saul both died to Smasher, it was in part due to an ambush.

Panam herself helping in and surviving the fight should at least massively upscales her above the boxing characters in mid as there's not a doubt in my mind that those 2 would not have survived long at all against Smasher. Saul, being relative to Panam, should scale at least somewhat with her.

Cyberskeleton David should probably be a tier down as well, in part because of how easily Smasher killed him.

It almost feels like there's a gap between V and the entire verse

So this is an edgerunner tier list not a cyberpunk tier list...I know edgerunner is cyberpunk, but there are a lot more characters in cyberpunk than in edgerunner so don't be that guy when you comment🤦‍♂️

Johnny is way too high. It's confirmed that his memories are incorrect and pushed by his ego. This is what he wanted to see himself. He even hadn't the second clash with smasher on the rooftop. This was Morgan Blackhand. Who Silverhand erased from his memories giving a lot of Blackhands interactions to himself

Y’all forgetting that Johnny was in the war and it’s HEAVILY implied that they modified their soldiers with combat implants and other things so I feel like Johnny is fairly accurate to where he put him

All this people mentioning Morgan Blackhand and how Johnny has fake memories forget that there's two little things called "real world" and "creative liberties".

Johnny broke into Arasaka tower two times with two different crews. In the canonical lore it was definitely Blackhand who did most of the work, but this game is centered around Johnny, and Johnny is the one mentioned by everyone in the game as the one who put that nuke into the tower, not Morgan Blackhand. CDPR did various things differently than how they're supposed to work in lore, this being one of them given the importance of the character involved in this version of the story.

Johnny is way too high. He is only considered a "legend" because he ended up being the face of the NC Holocaust as the sole captured Militech operative. He's basically a fodder character during the raid and was dispatched by Smasher with no resistance. Unless a nuke is part of Johnny's arsenal, he doesn't belong in Elite tier.

Takemura is way too low. He is the best Samurai and likely has the best cyberware as well. Even without implants, he is stated to be capable of killing or defeating V and Oda, putting him well above David Martinez's non-cyberpsycho form. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Takemura, when he is restored to his proper position in the Devil ending, is the strongest Cyberpunk character we've seen. Even Adam Smasher couldn't kill him alone when he was without implants during Search and Destroy, plus Takemura is above guys like Kenichi Zaburo who is stated to be Morgan Blackhand's equal.

Lucy is way too low. She's a netrunner that gives Arasaka elites a hard time and it's implied that she's above Kiwi at least. She should be on the level of Maine, similar to Placide in combat I'd imagine.

Razor Hughes is way too high. Maine would body him in an actual fight. He basically has no ranged abilities, no protection against netrunners, nothing. Sasquatch is a bigger threat than Razor Hughes.

And finally, Delamain should be in freaking Elite tier. If it is fused Delaiman, maybe even Legend tier. This guy has faced Smasher, MaxTac, and probably even Arasaka killer cyborgs during the sequence with Takemura. His cars are built like tanks. He's an all-powerful AI and we've yet to see a single threat to him other than his other selves. I mean, how can we be sure Alt wouldn't lose to Delamain?

V and Alt should absolutely be a tier above smasher and david

Rogue, Panam and Saul, each Characters willing and able to storm Arasaka tower (in case of rogue helping nuke the first tower) getting lower rating than guys like Cesar. Cuz the only stuff being considered seems to be their gear. Not their brains or guts.. Yeah sure, whatever... Rogue in her prime would be nearly on Jonnys level. Saul and Panam are leaders of a Clan for a reason too. Not including Bartmoss and Blackhand I`m okay with. But Spider Murphy should be mentioned aswell and at least be on Lucy`s level. If you actually take the lore aspect into consideration as you said. Which I somewhat can`t see in that list.
