Get into Top APM Programs | Associate Product Manager Guide

Hi, I have around 1.5 years of experience as an APM with my current employer. Will I be eligible to apply for such programs?

Are the APM programs only for college grads? Can experienced software engineers apply who have no prior experience in Product?

I'm currently in India.Can I apply to meta RPM program since the openings are for US and London ?Does meta offers work permits?

Question: I'm expected to graduate college end of next year and will have 3 product management internships completed. While I have received return offers from 2 of them, I want to apply to FAANG PM positions (all my experience is in mid-tier and just wanted to try something new). Should I be applying to the APM programs or regular PM positions? I will eventually apply to both but would like to know which one to focus on. I know most of the regular PM positions require at least 3 years of industry experience and I didn't know if I could classify my 3 PM internships as equivalent to 1-2 years of industry experience.

Currently, i act as a liaison between business and product teams. More like a program management.
What are the chances that I get into product management ?

I applied to an RPM program for a company I’m currently working for (as a non product manager)! I’ll give an update once I get in! Super excited and hoping I pass the assessment and get the final interview!

beyond sad that Meta will be on hiring freeze for the rest of this year and as a result there will be no RPM hiring this year.
