Maybe would be better switched out Tyranitar to Unfezant when Tyranitar started sand storm. Greninja would have die with the sand storm and Alain would have Tyranitar with full HP against Snorlax and Sceptile. I guess with this option would had one choice to win, because Sceptile grass attacks most of them are physical and Tyranitar has a great physical def.

Firstly this is not ash ,without pikachu ash is not ash it's simple

Alain team is super strong with 2 pseudo legends and a mega charizard plus super strong Pokémon like weavile and bisharp… unfeasant is the weakest but it’s supposed to be the counter to fighting types….. since half his team is 4x weak to fighting…. Half the team is also weak to fire weavile, metagross and bisharp… infernape alone can outspeed and do big damage to basically his whole team if it switches in safely….
Outside of ash greninja ash’s Pokémon aren’t that strong base stat total wise but have great type synergy…

He has all three starter types that cover each other’s weakness…
