Loot drop color indicates meteors

The drops match the lunar biome, theres a key somewhere on the internet but for example white = lunar biome is ambergris and mutagel

There is also the Blue drop

First loot crate was a purple and got an ascendant tek bow, couple tek foundations and 50 straight electrical cables

They change color based on the space biome

Drop colors show what's in lunar
Rainbow drops - ambergris lunar
Green - crystal lunar
Blue- sulfur
Purple - element shards
Yellow - obsidian
Red - oil
Cyan- element dust
Orange - black pearls

The loot drops change colour depending on where you are in space. Like your other video Nooblets about when the spaceship travels at certain times. Depending on where it stops changes the loot drop colour

Steve so the color of the drops is determined by what location the ship warped to for example rainbow means that out in space you can harvest ambergris and mutagel and if its purple the ship warped to elm shard location

Seems you’re not using your tek suit

Loot drop colour seems to depend on what colour planet is in orbit around the lifeboat ship

the drop color depends on the random cycles that appear in the space biome at midnight; you may be onto somehting about the longer the drops go without being checked that the loot table value increases. That would be impossible to test I think. Shrodingers Supply Drop.

white is the new resources, green is crystal, blue is sulfur, pink/purple is element/element shards, yellow is obsidian, red is oil, light blue is element dust and orange is black pearls

Drop colour relates to what type of resource is in space. Will be helpful learning the colours so you don't have to go to space and check every time

Hey Steve! Love your stuff! Don’t know if you figured it out yet but the color of the drop changes daily with the rotating resources in the space zone. For example: Purple means element crystals in space and high end weapons like mini guns and tek bows in the Drops. Yellow drops contain high end structures like industrial forges, fabricators, etc. while the resources are different colors of gems and obsidian. That’s all I’ve figured out so far but I’d love seeing your full breakdown. Thanks in advance bud!!

hi, will you do a video where you spawn in x number of each drop color to see if there's any correlation between color and type of loot inside? maybe a rough idea of the loot table maybe. thanks. i know the color corresponds to what mat is on the asteroids, but does each drop color also have its own loot table?

Why can’t I open the orange ones ?

I found that the yellow & cyan drops give nice stuff.

The color of the loot drop changes at midnight with every warp. The color of the drop also coincides with the materials in space.

I found a blue one with mostly trash, still not sure how colors correlate with the loot yet.

PS4 all drops are broken after Genesis 2

The drops on Gen 2. White: mutagel/ambergris
Green: Crystal
Blue: Sulfur
Purple: Element shards
Yellow: Obsidian
Red:Oil
Cyan: Element Dust
Orange: Black Pearls
so if the drops are white then the void area will have mutagel

The color of the supply crates is related to what rocks are in the middle space biome.

From the wiki:

Red: Oil
Orange: Black Pearls and Mutagel
Yellow: Obsidian and Abberant Gems
Green: Crystal
Blue: Sulfur

White: Ambergris and Mutagel

I have a little hut worth of TEK structures from these drops. They’re pretty op.

I’ve gotten so many ascendant saddles from these it’s not even funny.

Before going on a looting spree, do the "Circuit Chase" mission in any difficultu, it will really boost loot quality. I got tons of truly epic loot, for instance 143 armor giga saddle, 258% tek bow, 650 armor minor helmet...
Also for having loot quite a lot i think the loots you can get depends on the color. I think the tek bows are on purple for example (and you can use it without the engram, best weapon for taming)

The loot verries. Every night at midnight (in game) the ship warps and when it stop the loot changes.

They change color in relation to whats in the space biome, nothing else. Colors dont mean anything in regards to quality of loot like normal deops

I just had 6 yellow drops in a row be inaccessible because they were inside the ground. Hope this is fixed asap

I’m stuck in genesis 2 server because I can’t open any of the supply crates.. I can’t use a terminal because they all have Gigas and turrets protecting them. Wtf
