Having watched the video, I actually feel like the touches themselves make people around Chris uncomfortable, but the his personality and how everyone loves him just outweigh the awkwardness.

Touches like this usually are subconscious form of showing domination, although in Chris’s case, not an aggressive one.

I am latin. We are pretty honest, open, and touchy feely. In general, latins are comfortable with all that. But nowadays, I am worried about the touch factor. People might not like it, assume the wrong thing. Also, I have been touched by men in weird ways, and I didn't like that, I knew why they were doing it. Fine line.
