I wonder if he knows that America isn’t a country
ОтветитьExcuse me, what does it mean "baha"?
ОтветитьWhat’s that brown bodied guitar just to the left of your head ?
ОтветитьAll are great but im my opinion nothing beats the japanese pride on their craftmanship and quality control not to mention they possibly have the best feeling necks and the nicest looking guitars.
ОтветитьAmerican for sound Japanese for looks
ОтветитьHonestly.. I think the Mexican one has the best tone. Which pains me to say because I just ordered an American.
ОтветитьI just bought a baja telecaster, used but well looked after.
I am delighted with mine .
I have a Gibson SG Standard, also a Hagstrom D2F, but I enjoy playing this Telecaster most of all, especially with the S1 button and 4 way pickup selection.
Best of all is the maple neck, I just love it
Here's the Truth, the best made guitars are Korean and Indonesian, USoNAan are not up to it, the craftsmanship in the Indonesian and Korean is superior. The one exception is Eastman, handmade in China.
ОтветитьThe double-bound MIJ is so attractive. I love that look. Even more rare in a lefty version!
ОтветитьI thought it was only purchase an American Start. I guess it has changed some what
ОтветитьMIJ Tele all the way… better made too.
Ответитьdon't even have to listen, MIJ no two ways about it, lot of folks dont know but Japanese have been working wood for about 12,000 years now, and there are a LOT of master woodworkers there..
I only have one MIJ anything that stands out and that's the fire Strat, the 93 thats USA body and neck, thats an UNREAL guitar, has the walnut plug.. the pick guard isn't standard either, not MIM or USA, why that was changed no idea, but its a dual bi flex truss rod, phenomenal neck, me thinks I got a custom shop gig... yup that good, and it has the thin hand rubbed neck which is super fast and smooth..
aside form that one I do have a Squier thats exceptional and I wonder if since its a 94 I believe if there isn't something up with that one with a USA body and nck, just super comfy, only thing is the entire guitar is 5% smaller than a standard? weird right?
I let a maple necked MIJ fire strat go and I cant stop kicking myself cuz $450 wasn't too much for it if its anything like the rosewood version I already have.. the tightwad won that night...
to my ears the MIJ beats em like a red head step child, good grief
The Japanese Tele sounds the best in my opinion.
ОтветитьDidn't think it was a good representation. The JAPANESE VERSION HAD A MAHOGANY OR ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD
ОтветитьOne was like Pepsi and maybe another was like coke.
ОтветитьYou didn't have one of the chinese teles? Think i have one, amongst my other teles, believe its called a modern player, with 2 single coils, plus, a humbucker, with a 5 way switch. Not too bad!
ОтветитьI love my surf green MIM Tele, but I wouldn't say 'no' to an american model whenever I can afford it. After all, it took me three years of work and saving like crazy to finally get my hands on a Fender American Jazzmaster.
Ответитьfor me, the US version sounds the best.
ОтветитьAll sounded the same to me lol; off to buy a squire! :D
ОтветитьThe difference between mex and US is 200 miles.
ОтветитьIt's so cute when people try to justify the mex or jap tele being better than an american. Just be honest with yourself and say "I can't afford one right now and maybe one day I'll get it"
I have all 3, I had the mex and jap when I was younger and couldn't afford to spend over 2 grand. Now I'm an adult with a full time job and was able to buy one, its clearly better and it's not to sound snobby. It's better built, it feels better, neater wiring, better hardware, more comfortable neck - you get what u pay for. They wouldn't make a mex or a jap version for no reason and make it significantly cheaper if it was truly "better than the american" give me a break guys - if you got a mexican or a Jap just be happy with it, no need to have to try to convince yourself, I loved both of mine, but I never walked around as a kid saying it's better than an american lmfao
Japanese hands down.
ОтветитьYou willing to sell or trade that MIJ Midnight?
ОтветитьUSA Win!
ОтветитьJapanese ftw!! i have MIJ Fender TLA and its sound so great
I’ve had a number of Telecasters from all three countries and consider the quality and workmanship equal. If you put the same pickups in each they would all sound the same. You can’t go wrong with any of them.
ОтветитьAmerican one definitely sounded a little better, but not twice the price better. I like the sharpness of the Japan one though so I'd probably go for that one were I to buy one.
ОтветитьI found the sound of Mexican tele was best among these three.👌👌
ОтветитьI feel like the USA Tele had a better intonation setup. The other two sounded slightly out of tune compared to it.
ОтветитьI've got the Vintera 60s modified in Lake Placid blue the same wiring features as the Baja but with the cleaner no truss rod hole headstock and the slimmer neck .I absolutely love it !All these Teles sound great and which ever one you can afford fits the bill .
ОтветитьI love those Baja tele 6.4 lbs. I sold mine in 2019 . What are the best guitars I've ever owned I wish I still had it
Ответитьthat blind test was so easy Teles are so thin lol
ОтветитьIm going get the Japanese where I can get it??
ОтветитьNot a Good Test being these are Different types of Good Telecasters.
ОтветитьI would love a comparison where the pickups are all Standard American Tele Pickups. Willing to bet they would all sound the same. And same capacitors.
ОтветитьI have a tele. Says esquire but I found the neck has been replaced with a fender neck. The decal is over the clear coat. The body is butterscotch or blonde. White pick guard with a bit of a glittery effect on it. The body is solid top loader. Not a single serial number anywhere. I’m unsure of what I got. But she sounds amazing.
ОтветитьI definitely like Japanese more. A very "grown-up" sound.
ОтветитьStill prefer the Les Paul - easily picked it out. Fun comparison but I think the amp/pedal combination made all models sound more alike than they otherwise might.
ОтветитьMim sounded the best imo
ОтветитьI like more made in japan
ОтветитьBaja for the win!
ОтветитьIn historical fact the Spanish, who occupied Mexico have been making guitars for hundreds of years before Americans.
ОтветитьThe black and gold is a looker
ОтветитьMade in Japan is definitely the best. In sound, style and beauty....😍😍😍
ОтветитьI agree that the Japanese fenders are very nice and have great quality .
Ответитьthe sounds/tones are subjective to personal 'tastes'. I have a '96 MIJ and prefer it over my custom built Thorn. Go figure,
build quality, playability ( 7 1/4 radius, which I never thought I'd like) balance, it's all there. They do rival custom shop builds.
I have the exact MIJ model - any one interested to buy it from me?
ОтветитьI'm preferring the Japan Tele best. I also got rid of my American Strat in favour of a Japanese Strat.
