Hit and run happens due to more traffic on road and also careless speed driving of bikers & other vehicles also. But when an accident takesplace the Truck/ Car driver is usally held responsible. The law enforcers usually put wrong cases on drivers as they are never held responsible for making wrong cases. Nobody can know the authenticity of a chagesheet. That is the reason for this strike. Fighting a leagal battle is very costly for a common man.

First it was farm bills and now this. Why is the govt so scared to enforce good laws which will be benificial for most of the people.. they crumble under the pressure of a minority group.. this is not done.

Is it just for the trucks or other vehicles too? Having this protest in mind, we need to strengthen the laws on malicious intent. Because these truck drivers are driving their vehicles with the intent to hit and run.

With the AI taking over truck drivers' jobs abroad, I used to feel worried for our drivers wondering if the trend catches up in India. Now It won't concern me if these people go jobless.

It's actually surprising that they are protesting against a law that gives 10 years imprisonment for literally killing off a person. Not an animal on road. But killing a human. It's like these truck drivers think killing on road is part of their job and this law will make it harder to do so. Shame on bjp government if they buckle under pressure.
