Its funny how people cry about USB C not being on a PC yet I use USB C to USB C cables every day cuz my PC always has USB C port since 6 years ago... Hence this issue comes down to user error whom aint buying the right PC for the right job... its like if you go and buy a civic and then go race in Baja desert... It could work but is it the best car for the job? Definitely not...

If you can't find power settings in windows 11, try this:

- Open control panel
- Paste this in the control panel browse thingy: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Power Options\Edit Plan Settings
- Press "Change advanced power settings"
- Open USB Settings, disable it and apply as shown in the video

Alright I have looked everywhere but no body has answered my question what happens is I’m playing a pc vr game with link then it freezes starts running again but the screen isn’t stable ig like I’m playing a flat screen game

Oculus's cable is UDB-c on both ends because a USB-c port on a computer can output about three times the amperage, allowing your quest to stay charged while using or at least lose charge VERY slowly. If your computer doesn't have a usb-c port, you can use am adapter and get slower charging. This is better than making the cable USB-A (regular USB) and giving EVERYONE slower charging.

What I find interesting is using the cable that came with my Quest 2, it warns me and says I need to connect it to a USB 3 connection. Like the cable it comes with doesn't even meet their specifications? (Also how can USB-C NOT be 3.0+?)

So it might not just be my PC that affects gameplay? :o

I have a Kiwi cable, but I always have problems with it disconnecting. It might be that I don't have the cable secured to the headset (I do have a different headstrap), or the how the USB is connected to my PC; it does seem like it hangs down a little.

Changing that USB power setting does nothing other than stop the USB being allowed to sleep when NOT in use, it also needs to be done in device manager too but you didn't mention that part.
No mention of USB plug type..

USB TYPE A cannot deliver the power required to keep the headset going so battery will deplete fairly quickly, Like 21/2 hours even when on cable if running 90+ Refresh rate.
The USB cable MUST be TYPE C on both ends and NOT by using an adaptor to gain access to the higher power allowed only by Type C connectors.

I have a Nacom cable, it blasts both the official and Kiwi's cable out of the water in terms of speed (The Nacom has 2.8 Gbp/s compared to sub-2 Gbp/s) and I haven't noticed any issues with it either, was 45 euros, its USB-C to USB-C but they give you a USB-C to USB adapter with it in the box.
