One dead, several injured after heavy rain causes roof to collapse at New Delhi airport

At least one person died and several others were injured, after a section of a roof at India's biggest and busiest airport collapsed, following torrential rainfall. Dozens of flights at Terminal 1 of New Delhi's Indira Gandhi airport were cancelled or delayed. The Indian capital saw record-breaking rainfall today, inundating parts of the city and stalling traffic. Many opposition leaders have slammed the ruling Modi government for their ill-preparedness, amid the multiple extreme weather events hitting swathes of the country in recent months.
