Hey Chaps! Would an Exynos S24/S24+ put you off buying it??
NOTE: while an s24+ vs s24+ video is worth making too - THIS is about whether a Snapdragon S24 Ultra is worth it over a Exynos S24+ (in terms of the chips) 👍
I m getting s24 at INR 55,700 should I GRAB THE OFFER OR should i wait for s23 ultra price drop
ОтветитьIf your spending 700+ you should encounter zero lag
ОтветитьExynos Trash 🥲
ОтветитьSamsung need to work A LOT more on their chips... Having 2 more cores performing worse means that there is something wrong... They literally wasted space and energy on the die to just give 2 more cores while the standard is 8 cores...
We need still to remember that these are 1000 bucks phones...
Why buy a s24+ with an exynos when you can buy a snapdragon s23+, which is cheaper
ОтветитьRemember, despite being the cheaper version of the s24, the s24/+ are still at the premium price segment. The question is if you think the exynos deserve that price or not. SAMSUNG's marketing highlights the comparison between the two lesser s24 vs ultra but the actual comparison is with other flagships from different brands.
ОтветитьI've only ordered the s24 ultra because of the fact that it is definitely a snapdragon chip and not exynos. I have an exynos s22 ultra, and it's so bad in battery life. It has been since day 1. If i had to go with exynos again, I just wouldn't buy a Samsung. They really need to stop short changing their customers, it's totally unfair.
ОтветитьI know this has been a thing for many generations of Samsung, not sure about other Android phones, but why the hell would they have 2 different chips for the exact same phone? It's like optimized vs underpowered.
ОтветитьIt still matters. All the big reviewers in the US reviewing performance and make the good publicity. The rest of the world gets mostly worse performance. It is not that much in this generation, but still less than what is promised by big reviewers.
ОтветитьIts better to buy s23 series
ОтветитьDo comparison to Pixel 8 Pro so people will see how S24 Exynos FAST is
ОтветитьThat slowdown on a exynos — I encountered it on a S24 ultra and was seriously surprized
ОтветитьWhat this all proves is there not much in it . The 2400 is more then capable only tech geek care about this stuff
ОтветитьWaiting to trade my 23 ultra for the 25 ultra or 26 ultra. I want less megapixels on the camera and a bigger sensor.
ОтветитьDay to day use s24 exynos is running fine . But battery is bad . S23 last almost 1.5 hour longer. Ps. I have S23 and S24 (exynos)
ОтветитьThe AI features are actually processed on the cloud so they don't get affected by the processor. This is why they are going to charge for these after an year or two.
ОтветитьS24 Ultra has Snapdragon worldwide it's time Samsung to discontinued Exynos or charge less because this is anti consumer it's surely cheaper to use Snapdragon instead of making your own SoC.
ОтветитьExynos is still %20 behind the competition in my opinion
ОтветитьI wouldn't have gotten my ultra if it came with an exynos because on the S22 all games I played, when it was supposed to be equivalent, were laggy, stutter filled and outright buggy. I don't play games much on my phones, but in general the experience with snapdragon so far is miles ahead.
ОтветитьThat's not a fair comparison at all... You should have compared two S24+...
ОтветитьI actually wouldn’t mind having one with the exynos soc but I’m not in the market for a new phone. I would like to see Samsung keep going with the exynos chips and keep improving. Which ever chip you wind up with, the phone is going to be a beast.
Ответитьexynos suck af
ОтветитьI have been using the Exynos version of the S21 for a few years. It worked well for almost everything except the modem; the network issues became so horrible that I used to miss a lot of calls since people couldn’t reach me. Also, there was no hope for 5G and the 4G network speeds were horrible as well. Initially I was not having any such issues, but in a span of 2 years I got tired of the phone coz, it couldn’t do the basic functionality of a phone, which was to have a good network connection for calls and internet. I switched to a used S23 recently (Snapdragon) and I can feel the difference. I would personally never buy an Exynos version ever again.
ОтветитьThis comparison between Snapdragon and Exynos on Galaxy S24 Plus and S24 Ultra is truly a valuable source of information. The video helped me clearly understand the differences between these two chip lines and their impact on phone performance. The detailed information and flexible comparisons helped me make smart decisions when choosing to buy. Thank you for sharing this useful knowledge!
ОтветитьThe Canadian model also has Snapdragon across the board
ОтветитьI chose the s24 for me, I like big screens, but they are so uncomfortable in the pocket...
Ответитьyou should have compared s24 exynos and snapdragon instead of plus with ultra
ОтветитьWhat's hilarious to me is - in their home market they opt in for the better chip even though it's their home market. In the US they will always stick with SD because that's their best chance vs Apple and A bionic chips!
ОтветитьBro fooled me, i thought it was mrwhostheboss
ОтветитьWhat a garbage chip
ОтветитьSamsung s23 ultra is the winner.
ОтветитьMy eyes were rather focused on battery numbers difference... at first it was only 2% difference but with each further test the difference started to grow which did not change the problem of exynos power consumption
ОтветитьGPU test results are not so different, looks like AMD architecture is competitive, but the Exynos cores are still behind the competition...
ОтветитьJust a note on the adobe apps they dont have support for hardware level encoding offered by the exynos and the exynos chips use better hardware encoding thanks to AMD VCN encoding
ОтветитьThank you for the comparison! Btw, Do u have information on PWM level for S24+ display on minimum brightness ? Please share if u do. Thanks
Ответитьincorrect comparison, different phones.
ОтветитьI don't think it's gonna make a difference for most people out there. I don't think there are many that edit videos on a phone, let alone doing anything equally demanding. Personally, I use a Galaxy A54 ever since it got released and despite all the horror stories I've been reading about exynos chips, on a day to day use and the light gaming I do, there are 0 issues.
ОтветитьAlone the different vapor chamber point makes the comparison kinda as good (aka bad) as some benchmark comparisons.
ОтветитьFor me, the only issue with Exynos, was never it's performance, it was a battery life. And it still sucks compared to Snapdragon. So nothing's changed.
ОтветитьExynos weeknes once you are in 4G or 5G, it heats so much so fast, at least this is my experience in S20+ compare to flood 4
ОтветитьThis is quite damning. I think they count on the general public not being tech savvy so they won't notice but for anyone who does like tech how could you not feel short changed?
Ответитьclose? nope, exynos is just not good at all. lagging like in the video is exactly what happened to all exynos phone
ОтветитьI currently use a Op9 Pro with it's Snapdragon 888 and it still is going strong. I do not experience any major stutters or lags so I guess both, the Snapdragen 8 gen 3 and the Exynos will be finde for me and probably most other users too 😄
Ответитьwell, what would be fair is to have that Exynos in all S24 and S24+ all over the world and the SD8G3 in all Ultras. Remember, the EU has higher prices for this kind of electronics and if you compare what you pay and what you get in S24/+ therms in EU and the US the difference becomes pretty big. One reason I refuse to buy Samsung phones for years now.
ОтветитьFor the love god why would samsung go back to exynos. DO NOT BUY
