See, this is an Edelgard I would be able to get behind. She had good goals, but her methods left her unappealing. Even in games, if there's a path with least bloodshed, I'd actually like to take it.

Ouch, that Shez corpse. But yeah it does makes sense with how Shez was SUPPOSE to have died to Byleth shortly before the Prologue for Three Houses begins! Arval awakening, allowing Shez to last MORE then a second against Byleth is the ONLY reason Three Hopes happens. And yeah by the timeline since this is Post Chapter 12 Three Houses. it's been 5 years, MORE then enough for Shez corpse to decompose like that. Is it wrong that a SMALL part of me wished the Devs made one more update for 3Houses adding Shez in. Like a What if Arval ceased to be just to allow Shez to survive but with Amnesia! I would have loved to see a Non-Powered Shez in 3Houses as a playable.

Edelgard sounds a bit more like her 3Hopes version, where she's willing to make some more compromises, even if it is a bit difficult with her. Maybe the multi-route memories mixing together, and Byleth's talk, helped her come to terms a bit more.

And Flayn telling Seteth off and making it clear that their society is shit and should be changed is fantastic. I always felt Flayn was the most lacking because she learned nothing in all the routes. Felt like Flayn just wanted to live in her little bubble.

Dimitri waking up reminded me of the chicken from Family Guy. Considering everyone is still confused as heck from the time merge I wonder if Reha will be stomping through Enbarr demanding Edelgard's and Byleth's heads on a pike?

Honestly, if having 4 existing playthroughs of the completed routes unlocks the 5th Golden / Revelations route, I would be 100% down for it. Tho I do understand also why IS didn’t do it too

My issue here is that the Church accepted the crest-system as the surrender-terms of the Elites who wanted to maintain their familial power, they aren't the ones enforcing it so much as the nations are enforcing it. Seteth wouldn't give a shit.

I still will never agree with Edelgard’s reasoning of destroying the church, yes they were the ones that set up the system but just outright killing them for it is insane. Also allying with the Agarthans never made sense for me, so many deaths occur because of her allying with them Monica,Jeralt, a bunch of students, and her family being experimented on and killed, yet she blames the church as if they were responsible for what happened to her. Rhea is very problematic and hating her is reasonable but starting a war to kill her is dumb.
