I wish some of these girls were allowed to have a real honest reaction. Because every one I have seen is staged. A real reaction would be raw. Would be fear and confusion at first. Would be curiosity because of the freak show stranger standing in the mirror.

She was quite pretty before the plastic surgery, all she needed was a makeup/clothing,/hair makeover and a healthy dose of self esteem via therapy.

I was in HS in the early 00s and I’m far from a “snowflake” but it’s incredible how many of these shows were on air back then. All about physical imperfections and going through some rigorous training, make-over, boot camp style fix it regimen to look like one of the “in crowd” and finally be considered human enough to live….I remember back then watching and being entertained but also, perplexed at the brutal shallowness. People acted pretty ugly back then regarding body image…..now it’s swung in the opposite direction (not good either)

all she needed to do was get better pairs of glasses or wear contacts and put her hair down. Wtf bro

Today she would have been accepted as a really attractive woman. Her issues were mental-crippling self consciousness

Question.... How can she feel beautiful, if she hadn't even seen a reflection of herself yet? Just that I remember them being isolatet from everything that had a reflection... I'm really happy for her! Just quriosity!

She didnt need that plastic surgery. Literally you can do so much with just a regular makeover and make-up. This show is awful. I hate how much our society emphasizes beauty from women and the pressure they are under to do this.

Can we normalize women having facial hair?!? It effects sooo many women, either by genetics or a medical condition. It's 100% not ok to talk negativity about it or make fun of people for it.

The facial hair was due to an underlying hormonal problem, which is known as pcos. A surgery wouldn't help get rid of the hair, in some cases, even laser therapy can't get rid of it. She has to take care of her diet and reduce stress factors for long term result. A lot of women with pcos struggle with body, weight, hair and mentall issues.

I noticed one side of her face may be a little paralysed or nerve damage in the after surgery images. When she smiled it seemed string in one side and butnwesker in the other half of her face slightly drooping

I honestly think she was prettier before. All she needed to do was work out get contacts and put a little makeup on and she would’ve been gorg. I also liked her nose before

What a wonderful example she makes for homely women everywhere that with extensive plastic surgery that they can transform themselves into someone people might like.

Tbh…I know a lot of people will dislike this comment but I don’t see anything wrong with this show. The people wanted to get on this show to get a makeover they dreamed of to help themselves feel confident. And they all seem overjoyed when they see themselves.

Let's be honest. I'm happy for the lady. But these shows help to reinforce those planted seeds... now look where we are in 2022
