Geee watching this movie for a second time, this live action made Ella more human and no damsel in distress, she was brave in many ways and put others even if they hurt or mistreated her first before her!! Thank you disney!

Notice they didn’t even get her a mourning dress. Just a black ribbon.

I adore how this movie celebrates kindness as the most powerful magic there is. Even the pawnbroker shows it by letting Ella keep a memento so precious for her.

this explains why her step mother destroyed that when she found it with the shoe aside from just being mean

If I was her mother would have find a way to make Lady Tremaine and her daughters life a living hell through death

casting members deserve a raise for choosing Lily James to play Cinderella

I can completely understand where ella stands and how she is feeling I love it when she sees the stepmother is gone walking away from the tinker and she takes a look sees a special present from her father and that she rescues it and hides it with her in the attic

This scene should have been in the film! It explains her love of butterflies! Her ball gown was inspired by her mother’s gown, and the butterflies represent her father!

The only thing I dislike in this movie is the color of her eyebrows 🙈

I love this movie. The only things I wish is that the costume designer made her servant outfit look more run down and ragged and dirty, not a light blue. Also I feel that it would have made the stepmother appear more cruel if the movie showed more verbal abuse towards Ella. Maybe even a slap across the face. I’m not trying to be to critical, that’s just my view. Maybe it’s too much.

They should have left it all in. What a shame. It would have added more depth to the story. Who cares how long the movie would have been. As far as I am concerned it wasn't long enough.
