None of this show is funny. These are seriously supposed to be the funny moments?? This is just the “wealthy, out-of-touch white guy” trope as a show
ОтветитьFrasier therapy has helped me get through many a bleak evening, and still does. It's amazing how well it holds up, even when I know what's coming, it's just so well done. Credit as always to the genius writers, Peter Casey, David Lee, Christopher Lloyd. Where are they now, and why are they not associated with the revival?
Ответить"You have your big man in the paint; I have mine". Best description of different tastes.
ОтветитьI watched this show when I was only 8-10 years old and loved it. I’m 24 now and I still rewatch it. Such a comfort and nostalgia. It’s thanks to this show that I’m constantly improving my etiquette and such, especially with how people don’t care about knowledge nowadays.
ОтветитьOne of the things I love about Frasier is the intelligence and accuracy of the scripts, which is why I hate "The Crucible" episode. Frasier is intelligent comedy, and that episode's script was downright stupid. There is no way a police department wouldn't get involved if you told them a local business was robbing its customers, no way an artist wouldn't care that a gallery was selling forgeries of their work. To me, "The Crucible" is an embarrassment to the other 263 episodes of Frasier's gold standard.
ОтветитьRemember that episode where they had a misunderstanding? Yeah that one was great.
ОтветитьI was in an abusive relationship for 13 years.....the last 5+ were hellish and this show was always my comfort. I watched it over and over. I think the predictability of having seen it so much helped my anxiety from living with a man-child who's rage attacks happened almost daily and unexpectedly ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьJohn Mahoney like everyone here did not like different so had to rid his beautiful British accent. David Niven did not , Lesley Ann Down , Tim Curry , Deborah Kerr , Richard Dawson , Glenda Jackson , Maggie Smith , Judi Dench , Hugh Laurie except for House did a grand job there , Olivia Coleman , Michael Caine , Daniel Craig , even though Irish Liam Neeson , Pierce Bronson , Piers Morgan Jean Simmons , Richard Burton even Elizabeth Taylor with her Trans Atlantic accent , countless other great remarkable Brits come to this country the US never had to change their accent , I would not trade my beautiful British accent for anything , but America still hates different . I could explain but some other time .
ОтветитьTHE BACKGROUND LAUGHS ARE SO LOUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD THAT DISTURBS MY ATTENTION TO THE THEIR JOKES LINES ETC....
Ответить"like you saw that coming" heh
ОтветитьWhat a lame show. This guy is as funny as a punch in the nose. With his down syndrome head and humor like a stale bottle of piss. Boring dross.
ОтветитьFrasier is comedy for the intellectual.
Ответитьgod i miss "Fraiser" so much.
Ответитьlove how nonchalant the jokes are
Ответитьfrasier is a work of art. friends is a tv show for teenagers.
Ответитьseason 11 was 20 episodes to long.
ОтветитьThe lady who stayed overnight with Marty was odd. She was clutching her purse the entire time obviously wanting to make a quick exit
ОтветитьLiterally didn't ever know this was a spin-off to Cheers until this week just gone. I always liked Friends and back when these 2 shows were still airing new episodes my older Brother also watched Friends but used to say this isn't good we used to watch Friends but not this.
I'm glad I found out myself this is actually good and maybe I appreciate it more as an adult where as Friends is easier to like at a younger age perhaps.
Cheers was a bit before my time I always knew who starred in it like TedDanson, WoodyHarrelson, RheaPerlman or as I knew her more as Matilda's mum in Matilda (although that was after Cheers) but didn't watch Cheers episodes or weren't really into them when I was younger, may have half watched it when it was on round my Mum's friend's house on extremely rare occasion but as I'm older now I'm more interested. I actually think some people I know of were probably named after some of the characters I thought to myself the other day because I know of very few other people with some of the names in Cheers. I know Joey puts the TV on in the London episode of Friends & Cheers comes on lol anyway I wasn't too interested in watching 80's TV shows back in the 90's & 00's.
I'm really good with faces so the other day when I was watching Cheers I saw Fraiser & I thought that's Fraiser even though I didn't actually watch Fraiser I of course knew of it & I've seen the actor in other things as well like he's in a Medium episode I watched because I liked Medium watched all those (also today only just found out he's the voice of SideshowBob in TheSimpsons) amyway he looked a bit different in Cheers his head/hair looked different to him in Fraiser when I first saw him in that but I still guessed it was him because my brain remembers faces my first guess is usually correct, characters then started calling him Fraiser so I knew for sure then that Fraiser must be a spin-off it ran for 11 years and I never knew that before or the 19 years it's been since Fraiser ended so I went on Wiki just to read into it a bit more (apparently they're restarting this year as well).
Anyway this is good what also helped me get into this was Michael Keaton was in an episode I watched a few days ago.
Also the one where they forget they put the fake skull under the floor as children and go back to the house many yesrs later and accuse a man of murder.
And coincidentally recently was am episode with many of the Cheers cast.
I love the Frasier reruns. But, I never cared for "Daphne's" accent, to tell the truth.
Ответить❤️💯❤️
ОтветитьI was dying when Niles dropped his glass after Daphne said she took her undies off
ОтветитьThe Fine Arts Forgery Department

I loved this show, I still watch snips of it because every one of them makes me laugh. You can't be in a bad mood, watch this and not start laughing. Niles and Daphne are hilarious, the whole show was awesome.

ОтветитьDespite the funny moments, this show was basicaly about TWO LOSER BROTHERS who had basic problems when it came to connecting with the opposite sex.

ОтветитьTOTALLY TOTALLY AWESOME
ОтветитьLooking forward for the reboot with Rodney init lol
ОтветитьExcellent comedy series. Just a shame the UK character Simon Moon is such a vile knacker and shameful.
The script writers also fail to appreciate that Daphne Moon, allegedly born in Manchester, and having an attempt at a manc accent, would have a brother with a mockney accent and who looks like an overweight Iberian type.
Martin’s smirk after “the fine arts forgery department, please” is stuff of legends. I lose it every damn time.
