thanks, i tried using other ways of aligning things and well it didn't turn out so great, now I can save time and hair with this :)
ОтветитьHow to put ruler to the center of random cylinder? Is it possible on tinkercad?
ОтветитьI’ve pulled an stl file ore made into Tinkercad. I wanna measure the slots that are made already.
ОтветитьI'm going to use the ruler today on a object I'm working on.
ОтветитьGreat ! I wonder why Tinkercad doesnt explain these tools thoroughly.I didnt know I could write exactly the measure I need, neither to use the measurements from the centers, thanks
ОтветитьThanks, I was wondering how to place accurate holes.
ОтветитьTHANK YOU i needed to add a cone-shaped hole for a screw countersink but i didnt want to use the align tool because i needed it at a specific location
ОтветитьThanks for posting 👍👍
ОтветитьWOW!!! Too bad I didnt find this sooner, I might not be bald from pulling my hair out. THANK YOU!!!
ОтветитьTHANK YOU. I was trying to make a 3d printed prototype of something before having it laser cut, and had no idea how to get things to line up. Very Helpful...especially since it was a short video, I didn't have to wade through a bunch of other stuff to find the info I wanted!
ОтветитьI've been pulling my hair for the last 3 hours trying to do measuring between holes for a project, I think using this method it might work. I may just increase the size of the holes to make things easier vs. 6.7 mm wide holes.
ОтветитьGreat video on how to use the ruler!!! Helps a lot, thank you!
ОтветитьIs it possible I can print a chair people can sit on?
ОтветитьThanks yes I was frustrated before discovering that adjustment for the ruler reference. Now for the align tool :)
ОтветитьThx for for this it helped me a lot Peter Griffin.
ОтветитьGreat job explaining this important tool in Tinkercad!
ОтветитьTo all the ppl that dislike, u should be here...
ОтветитьHow can I move the ruler by typing numbers and NOT the shape? I want to 0 the ruler on a shape and I cant afford to move the shape because other parts are attached to it.
ОтветитьDo you know how to measure from two inside walls without having to use the midpoint? Having huge issues with spacing on three walls on a 4.8" block.
ОтветитьThanks, would have never figured out how to switch to midpoint!
ОтветитьI'm trying to measure the distance between 2 same radius cylinders (either center to center or edge to edge) above the workplane. How do I do that?
ОтветитьIf you have multiple objects with multiple planes... how can you snap a ruler to the corner of an existing object? If you do that your trying to do it by eye and it always seems to come out wrong and then as you continue designing off existing pieces that error is magnified and added to with later rulers that are also off by a hair.
Ответитьtook me a couple of shots to get me head around it but it really is easy to use this way, i am always setting up squares of holes for 2020 2040 and so on and this is by far the easiest method to do a set of holes for a predetermined object like extrusion etc. thanks for showing me the way.
Ответитьgood work stay safe
looking forward to watching more videos
im also sharing, create , and doing alot of tinkercad video
Thank you very much! I can now move objects easily with an accuracy of 0.01mm!
ОтветитьThanks for this explanation. Tried using it before and it didn't make sense.
ОтветитьThanks for the tip. Can the ruler be used off the work plane to measure hole locations on a cylindrical item? Array?
ОтветитьVery helpful.
ОтветитьThx!
ОтветитьPerhaps that was useful to someone who knows what they are doing but it was clear as mud to a beginner like myself.
ОтветитьTINKERCARD THE WORST 3D PROGRAM !!!!!!!! DONT USE IT!!!! FULLL OF ERRORS..SESION EXPIRES BY ITSELF... 3 DAYS OF HARD WORK 8H A DAY.. LOST 300$ !!! DONT USE TINKERCARD!!! WHO GONNA PAY ME NOW 300$? TINKERCARD?..WORST PROGRAM!!
ОтветитьThanks a ton!
Ответитьwell, that certainly makes more sense than how I'VE been trying to use the ruler. I've been pulling it down AFTER I get started & then trying to figure out how to line things up with it. Thanks for a really helpful video
ОтветитьThanks I have done tons of things without the ruler. Now when I 've seen how easy and handy it is I will start using it more. THANKS
ОтветитьVery informative. When I enter 0/0 in the green locations, it moves my project down and to the left of the Workplane but leaves the ruler where I placed it! Perhaps something changed with the versions since the video was made. Regardless, this was a helpful video.
ОтветитьGood definitely learned something! Thanks
ОтветитьCan I save projects as gcode with tinkercad ?
ОтветитьCan I save projects as gcode with tinkercad ?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThank you for this! No more side math to calculate centers.
ОтветитьThanks, great video, just what I needed!
ОтветитьVielen Dank! Sehr gut erklärt! ----Thank you so much! Very well explained!
ОтветитьCAN YOU DO INCHES IN TINKERCAD?
ОтветитьNew to TinkerCad and this was really helpful. Thanks.
ОтветитьThis is exactly what i wanted to know!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing😀👍
Ответитьexcellent (y)
ОтветитьI noticed your version of Tinkercad is the same as mine that has no favorite button. I’ve tried to update but nothing has worked and cannot find anything about it. Any ideas?
