For those of you confused, as I was - shadowblade has been replaced with rupture ( a bleeding ability)

I like this beginner guide! Although I am not sure what level this is tailoring towards. If this is towards players who are leveling and have just unlocked all of their abilities and passives, it's great! However, if this is towards 120 sub rogues, then the fundamentals of the rotation change quite starkly, it was something I had to learn and I feel I should mention these changes.

Sublety Rogue is very gear dependent, and traits change your rotation a lot, but since they are so vital and set in stone, I feel a 120's beginner rotation is the rotation with the traits.
First, the traits (since I'm basing this off of an almost fresh 120 I won't be giving specific numbers to stack)
First Dance, Night's Vengeance, and Inevitability. These traits are basically required.

1. You should always start with a shadow dance before anything, first dance gives you two combo points.
2. Your priority becomes maintaining the Night's Vengeance trait, meaning you use nightblade with one or two combo points, instead of 5 or 6. This allows you to "save" combo points for eviscerates, which consume Night's Vengeance and deal a lot more damage per combo point.

Again, I loved this guide for its purpose, a lot of the time leveling you will be following the rotation seen in the video, but once you reach 120 and have some required traits, your fundamental rotation changes and priorities change quite a bit. Hence, I felt it would be good to mention as a beginning 120 player, or a player that is starting to gear their sub rogue or trying out the spec at 120.

I've never taken the trouble to master one particular class as I have one main and ten alts. I use them for pet battles, mostly.
