The Best Remote Desktop Software

Im actually remote viewing this from my adroid using splashtop lol. I installed the whole program remotely and then ran it at the same time. it created this insane feedback loop that you would only understand if you saw it for yourself. i pay $16 a year for splashtop and while Google's version is free its also not nearly as fast as splashtop

Great tutorial! Thanks! I used to use chrome remote desktop but I have been playing with AweSun Remote Desktop and I am impressed with it. Free with multiple features and works for me. I think I might transition to it.

No sooner did I connect my Ipad with my Mac, that it crashed my Mac, and I had to shut it down. Will not be using this app.

Yeah, chrome remote desktop is good. However, recently I discovered another very good alternative: R-HUB remote support servers. It works on both MAC and Windows and is only one time cost as compared to hosted services.

How to connect mac from other pc using this technique??

Multiple monitors is an issue with Chrome. They show up microscopic! I can't make chrome function well if the remote pc has multiple monitors

Thanks for posting this video! I too researched quite a bit for the best free remote desktop app, and was leaning toward Chrome Remote Desktop. Your video decided it decisively for me. This is about the only FREE solution that I truly trust using, it's a lightweight installation for host computers, and techs seeking to just access other peoples' computers don't even need to install the hosting deamon download - one ONLY needs to install the simple Chrome extension to access OTHER computers 😉
