Stoked with my new G85, just posted my first video using it for part of the footage and its amazing

He said just throw it on a stabilizer, which stabilizer is he suggesting would be good to use? I've been using my GH3 on Steadicam Merlin for 3 years, I'd like to shoot now with G85 without an external stabilizer anymore.

Well, I'd a camera with UHD and this one have it, and some people say this camera don't have the cinema mode, but is the cinema mode important? because here in my country I see that could be not vey useful, or I'm mistaken. I think a 4k common television doesn't have a cinema size.

Let see more of the camera and it's photos than talking heads in these videos.

I understand Panasonic only claims the G85 is able to handle up to 64GB cards, but has it been tested with higher capacity cards? When shooting 4K video or at 100Mbps you can go through storage real fast so being able to use a 128GB card could be very useful.

G85 has in body stabilization? Did the g7?

Such a fine looking camera with many wonderful features....but no headphone jack??? Gotta say that was a dumba$$ decision by Panasonic and I'm sure many would like to know what warped logic led to that! Deal breaker for me. I'm going with the new Oly when it rolls out later this year.

I own Lumix Gx85. auto tracking forcus is terrible compare to Sony A6300. I don't beleived Panasonic is behind Sony. Lumix G85 is the same problem.

Does the post focus feature work for videos ?

Can someone please give me some advice. I am looking to get a camera for 4K video. My original was the Lumix Fz1000 but its not in stock, then the G80/85 was announced so I decided to get this. Newer is better right? How come the 4k recording on this cam is not as nice as the GH4, fps 1080 mbps etc. Am I buying the wrong camera? I don't want to spend loads, otherwise I would buy a proper prosumer 4K for £4000 (next purchase). Suggestions please, thanks

Thinking of getting this camera-I like the I.S, weather sealing, post focus/stacking features and handy battery grip too. I just wish it would have decent slow-motion video (such as some Sony cameras). I guess you can't have everything though.

HI, great video! I was wondering if this camera can be used under freezing temperatures...It is mentioned by Panasonic that it is splash and dust resistance but they are not mentioning extreme temperatures. You may be aware that the new Olympus m1 mark 2 is currently advertising that it can be used in extreme weather conditions. Olympus is claiming that their new M1 can be used in -10 degrees Celsius. I am located in Canada, so you may understand the reason for my question. Thanks.

Canon and Nikon are real outsiders in mirrorless market. M3/M5 tehnology from 2013. Nikon 1 is almost faded and Nikon DL is a ghost camera. Canon and Nikon lost this market, to become a big players they need to invest a huge in this market.

Can G85 recharge by micro usb?

Dang was really hoping it would be able to shoot 120fps or even 96fps like the Gh4. I don't get how the lx10/15 can do 120fps and this can't. I wanted to hold off on the a6300 since ibis and touchscreen is missing, now I don't know. GH5 is going to be too expensive just to get 120fps for slow-motion.

will the g85 have 8 or 10 bit vlog? Cine Like? or is it basically a weather sealed gx85 with firmware updates?

He said 4:2:0 8 bit. I have read elsewhere that it is 4:2:2 8 bit. This is the one thing I was thinking would make me upgrade. Will have to wait for some more confirmation on this.

I just got the G7. Not going to upgrade though. Gh5 though...
