Sony A95L QD-OLED Review | The New Best TV I've Ever Reviewed

Does anyone here know how long a sony tv last before getting black screen issues or restarting? My 2018 model just quit on me today and idk what to do, just black screen and a sound of turning off and on. Did all the possible TS, idk f its cheaper or better to get it fixed or just get a new one. I mostly play games and occasionally movies but seeing it did not last, idk f sony is best

Wanna watch entirely your video but man, your voice hurts my ear. There's some tiny growl in your voice that's irritating. It's like im listening to a distorted audio.

My LG C2 is amazing and has 4 hdmi 2.1's. Why any mid to high end tv wouldn't come with 4 hdmi 2.1 ports today is ridiculous. People are using soundbars a lot more then full on sound systems with receivers so we need those ports. I have a console, soundbar, and Apple tv. 4 should be standard!

blows my mind how amazon is selling this TV for $2,798 and best buy is at $5,000. Like wtf? This is why best buy will go belly up in the next 5 years. No way they stay open getting undercut like that. Fuckin thieves.

This tv or the LG G3?

I hope you can help me. I have an A90J 65" an A90J 55" and just purchased an A95L 77" . Everyone of you experts FOMO HDTV and alike all say Dolby Vision Dark is what the direct intended. If that is true they all have dark depressing personalities. Playing movies in Dolby Dark or Dolby bright is so depressing they are unwatchable. The most unwatchable movies in those formats and that includes Sony's new professional that replaced custom are the movies that have been transferred to 4K from film like Jerry Lewis Nutty Professor and Elvis in Blue Hawaii. These pictures look like the director intended when watched in Dolby Vivid. Can you share some "light" on this for me? I also have a Panasonic UB-9000PK1

I can't remember if i have the LG G1 or G2 but either way it is still a really good tv but you're really making me want to upgrade to this Sony.

Btw, nitpick of the LG but I watch most of my tv/gaming in a dimmly lit room at night and not having backlighting on the remote is quite a pain to deal with. Also the settings are not overly intuitive, especially in regards to running at 120htz for gaming through my PC.

I do wonder, that signal splitter you mentioned, can that be used as an extension or join to add to an existing 5 metre cable without signal loss? I currently have the 5 metre hdmi2.1 in the air from hooks well in view because previously it hung around 10cm off the carpet. It isn't long enough to run around the floor and one of our dogs got caught in it and nearly brought down my very expensive PC, the 65 inch LG tv off the wall and another small table crashing to the floor but luckily the tv was well secured to the wall and the PC stayed standing, just bent the HDMI connection a bit. Point being, it would be a huge benefit if I could increase the length of the cable, It must be an issue for commercial projects or just larger rooms than mine at around 4 meters by 3 meters? How do commercial setups get around the 5 metre HDMI2.1 signal restriction?

3k for a TV and they give you two HDMI ports. Cheap bastards.
