Тут оптимально был бы цена/производительность для игр 5800х3d примерно на уровне 5900х, но менее требователен к частоте и таймингам DDR4. Разницу в fps в 20 кадров при включенном G-Sink вы без мониторинга не увидите. Тем более все игры изначально пишут на 8 ядер, в частности на XBOX/PS5.

Так что отсутствие 5800х3d здесь как и 7800х3d сделано умышлено, это не совпадение 😏

I think you could've dropped the 3950x and put in the 7800x3d since it's supposed to be the king of gaming. Just a suggestion.

Its like a 10 frame difference between mine and the 7950x3d, and all the numbers are higher than my monitor's refresh rate so its def NOT time to upgrade my cpu

7800x3d right there between 7950x3d and 7900x3d.

I have an 5900x with rtx3090 and play in 1440p so to get more fps I thought buying a RX7900xtx or should I go for better CPU (can´t efford both)

Looks like my 5900x is going strong at 2k then, makes sense since the gpu is being taxed more, I'd say wait for the 8000 series on discount if you have a 5000 series or even a 3000 atm if you game at 2k or higher

So it's not really worth the upgrade unless you're on the 3000s cpus. I will be keeping my 5950x and wait for granite ridge.

So 7900X3D ($578) is ~5% better than 7900X ($415) in 1440p for a $163 difference. No thanks. $163 is almost the price difference between a RTX 4070 and 4070Ti where 4070Ti is 24% better in 1440p.

3900x still going strong on higher resolutions! Probably gonna upgrade either next gen or the one after but it's been treating me well so far.

I think instead of buying a whole new pc I will just upgrade gpu and go up a resolution my 3900xt will work great with my lg cx oled and 7900xtx or 4090

Did you use the 3d v cache ccd for the games ?

I'd love to see some 4k native numbers along with FSR & DLSS Quality if possible.

I play everything @4k60 maxed. Or, the highest settings I can use to get a mostly consistent 4k60 (native or with some TAA).

I'm rocking a 5950x and XFX Merc 7900 XTX and was wondering what my gains would be at those higher resolutions, if any.

so if i upgrade my 5900x to 7900x3d and build a whole new pc I get 30 more fps... does not seem like the best deal..i was thinking of upgrading to the 7800x3d though but time will tell..
