If Python lambda syntax didn't suck, you could just write `product = reduce((x,y) -> x*y, data)` and it would certainly be the nicer way.

These videos are evidence that anything can be explained in a clear, concise and easy to understand way. It really shows how silly knowledge gatekeeping is at the university and institutional level.

Examples are displayed very fast. So, we can miss it sometimes to watch carefully. So, please reduce the speed of presenting a little bit.

the reduce function is in this example very confusing because if you import something anyway, you could just use math.prod([2,3,....])

can anyone help me understand the filter? in the first example, filter returns those above avg, when the condition is TRUE,
list (filter(lambda x: x>avg, data))
in the second example, list(filter(None, countries)) this filter returns when the condition is FALSE, i.e., not None

so what on earth does filter return, when the condition is true or false?
