If Python lambda syntax didn't suck, you could just write `product = reduce((x,y) -> x*y, data)` and it would certainly be the nicer way.

Ответитьcan anyone help me understand the filter? in the first example, filter returns those above avg, when the condition is TRUE,
list (filter(lambda x: x>avg, data))
in the second example, list(filter(None, countries)) this filter returns when the condition is FALSE, i.e., not None
so what on earth does filter return, when the condition is true or false?
