Literally every person buys this for one reason...
Space problems.
Put tie ties on the pedal mount!
Ответитьwhy dont you flip the pedal tray over to put the pedals higher
ОтветитьGod I love micro center
ОтветитьI need something that’s foldable. I don’t have much space in my apartment.
ОтветитьMario cart would be go good in this rig
ОтветитьThe wheel just looks to high for me. Looking at the side view
ОтветитьWe buy this because it's sturdy yet very lightweight. For us who own a direct drive wheel but have to move around the cockpit, this is great.
ОтветитьAwesome review I am going to get one now lol thanks
ОтветитьJust bought a Club Sport DD and Club Sport elite v2 pedals and needed something that didn't take up too much space and would be easy enough to move and this is exactly what I was looking for. Just hopped onto their store and bought one so it will be here either before or at the same time as the wheel base. Kinda sucks that I will have to struggle with mounting the pedals though 😅
ОтветитьI’m recently thinking about buying the Asetek La prima bundle. So I wanna know if the wheel base and pedals can be mounted directly on this seat or do I need to drill new holes.
ОтветитьOkay 6 months ago bought myself a good PC and a Moza R5 set with lite brake kit, because I finally wanted to go serious sim racing after tons of years playing racing games on consoles. Well actually I played from+/-1984 on an Atari, 800xl then on to the Amiga 500 to early Pentium 1 then 2 PC''s . etc. But from Ps1 it really hooked me in and started to use Wheels and pedal sets, worn out plenty. Then I played on Xboxes, (the OG XBox, 360, and One S)worn out plenty of wheel-sets on those too. Logitech was good to me and survived best overall, my loud L G920 is still alive after 6 years of heavy playing. Anywho I could not hold back any longer, I needed to go sim instead of playing around race games. Treated myself on my 58th bd to a good PC (i5 13600k cpu, rtxc4070 gpu, 32Gb ram) and a Moza R5 set and Steam money and bought Iracing, Rf2, AMS2,AC and ACC, yess Im an SIM addict LOL
BUT>>>> I am Dutch (sorry can't help that LOL)v and was born with a lazy left eye, and thinking about would a VR set work for me? But I can't find any IRL stores in the NL to try out if VR would work for me with my eye condition, any advice would be welcome. Or is going 3 screens my best bet? I've got chronic shoulders/ elbows/ wrists inflamed tendon problems yeah I'm old and worn so going more Nm FFB torc is not an option sadly, anywho got to buy myself a good rig to get off my kitchen table setup and wondering is 3screens or VR best for me?
I need help, so please help a fellow Sim junky out I really need some good advice LOL
Have fun ;)
Bought this because of looks AND rigidity in use with DD base and a LC brake and was not nearly expecting it to be so well suited for racing.
It stays in my mancave and I use it nearly daily for a few minutes to hours of endurance races from time to time. I don’t have any comparison as this is my first sim right now ever but I won’t have any comparison soon bc this thing is so great.
I just have the „small“ gt dd pro base (8nm) from fanatec and the CSL pedals but that is more than enough for me.
Absolutely can underline everything’s said in the video no additions. 100% buy again.
man, i was looking at the next level but after seeing how much that steering wheel mount flexes i dont know
ОтветитьSat in one in the shop and it the adjustability leaves a lot to be desired compared to a profile rig also the seat was bad if you have back issues on long sessions. No lower back support or lumbar support. IMO spend slightly more and get a profile rig and proper seat.
ОтветитьExcellent, thanks
ОтветитьI like how sturdy and well braced this tubular set up is, but the 1400-1600 dollars Canadian is a little rich. :)
ОтветитьWhat would be the best competitor at this price point with a more gt style seating position?
ОтветитьI’m a bigger guy what’s the weight limit
ОтветитьNo keyboard and mouse for other games that means you need a second setup. GTomega Prime offers bought in one for affordable price 👌
ОтветитьI have the Logitech edition with Logitech pro DD wheel and pedals and love this setup. It looks great in the room and doesn't take up a vast amount of space. I race in VR so dont need a screen either. Mine came with about 5 of the velcro straps for cable management.
Ответитьdo you listen to ya vids before posting why is it so damn loud?
Ответитьvery overpriced
Ответитьand it's easily moveable as well too!
ОтветитьThe seat is the only thing that actually works. And, no warranty to run out!
ОтветитьDo you think VRS pedals are overkill for this? I dont plan to use high kg of force, but if there is still a benefit, great. if not then i can get something like the CSL V2's
ОтветитьI just got mine! I was wondering what would be the best set up for around 600-700$? Just wheel pedal?
ОтветитьNot sure about the seat looks cheap, also curious to see how much the shifter would flex on the mounting plate, looked flimsy
ОтветитьAny ideas how I could use this with a single 34" ultra wide curve monitor?
ОтветитьHow does no one ever mention that this rig doesn't come with hardware for mounting the wheel base and pedals? 😂 Not that big of a deal but also c'mon
ОтветитьDo you think the VRS wheel base and Pedals is good for this? Or do you think that's overkill and I'm better off with the Alpha Mini and some other lesser pedals?
ОтветитьHow much flex was there at 20nm? How many kg did you set the pedals to?
Ответитьit will not pass my mrs test. lol
ОтветитьAny recommendations for a setup, that can be tucked away? Currently using a Playseat challenge, which isn't bad for starters, but the amount of flex and wobble around the wheelbase is kinda insane 😅
ОтветитьDid you test how many kg of force with the pedals was maybe too much, otherwise how many kg of force did you use?
ОтветитьCan you compare your best laptime with this to your 8020?
ОтветитьThere are too many small compromises for my liking. Is it possible to buy an aluminium rig for the same price , exc chair, but can get a cheap one or one from scrap until able to afford a better chair.
ОтветитьOne thing I’m curious about is I think that the both the wheel and pedal plates can be flipped, which I haven’t seen any actual pictures or videos of, but if that were the case then it seems like might be a way to get closer to a formula style position, since then the seat can be moved forward with the wheel plate turned around, and the pedals raised as well with the same total distance. Has anyone here tried that or know about it?
ОтветитьWhy do people buy this??? Because not everyone has enough money to buy overpriced equipment
ОтветитьHow many Nm dod you use with the DD2? Hearing you felt it numbs the force feedback doesnt work for me. But maybe it can stay rigid at a certain Nm range.
Then of course there's the shift mount...
Awesome video. What kind of powered usb hub do you use for multiple devices
ОтветитьTake a Drink every time this man says Aluminum.
ОтветитьWhat about the shifter and handbrake, much flex?
Can this fit through doors when not in use?
does a profile rig easily break down and become very small to be stored away? hmmm. maybe theres your answer.
Ответитьwhy people making video's like this?
Ответитьextuded metal gives u more options though to clip things in
ОтветитьI bought a 6 Sigma Slim with the adjustable seat for ~$700. I think at this price point, the 6 Sigma Slim is way more future proof when it comes to add-ons and way more sturdy. I've never used this Playseat rig, but I would probably advise folks to wait a few weeks, save up some more money and go for a solid rig. This Playseat chassis just seems to limit you if you plan on adding other pieces to your rig and the price isn't even that far off aluminum rigs.
ОтветитьThey need to make replacement seats available.. it'll eventually sag and the velcro will wear out and the rig will be unusable.
ОтветитьI made mine from scrap wood and a Jeep Cherokee seat. Biggest expense was $20 5.1 surround sound. Only problem is after a year of use it squeaks when I roll over kerbs.
ОтветитьRemoving the black rubber cover on top of the v2 elites let's you use a couple of longer m6 bolts straight into the trophy's pedal tray. In conjunction with the two rear points gives a solid, no hassle way, to mount these pedals to the trophy. I managed it solo with the pedal tray sttached to the trophy inside of 10 mins.
