Only a genius could be this passionate about another geniuses work
ОтветитьAnd I still keep coming back to this movie/scene.. the acting and music is just one of a kind!
ОтветитьSensational performer.
ОтветитьLike all villains or those filled with hatred, Salieri hated himself more than he hated anyone else. Unfortunately for the world, such people outwardly project their (self-)hatred in an unconscious attempt to save themselves from themselves. Mimetic theory-- Salieri didn't want to be Mozart, he wanted what Mozart had. Frankly, a court composer who needs to check every single note of a composition against a musical instrument isn't much of a composer of anything beyond ditties like the march he composed in Mozart's honour.
ОтветитьSoprano in kyrie 427 is wonderful
ОтветитьI always enjoyed how honest, even when it's painful, Salieri was portrayed as being.
ОтветитьI despised her acting as Stanzi. Her dirty American accent ruined it all.
Ответитьthis scene just is it. gets me every time. the way the voice over matches the changes in music and hits with the climax of Mass in C minor is a thing of art in of itself.
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhat a scene... cinematic masterpiece.
Ответитьi would like to see the whole film of Amadeus on you Tube
ОтветитьI want to see this movie so bad. I saw parts of it in the 80s and I've been wanting to see it ever since I was 6. I'm saving a Blu-ray player just in case I can find a copy on a disc.
ОтветитьElizabeth Berridge said in an old interview she got sick eating those nipples of Venice because all they were was marzipan cover with fondant. They did tons of takes over and over.
ОтветитьCredit to the person who chose the sheet from Mozart. They fit together so well with the story telling you almost thought Mozart wrote the pieces to fit the film.
ОтветитьThis movie made me feel to go to Vienna and pay tribute to Salieri at his grave. Even though the Mozart's grave is symbolic, a moment of reflection on his genius was a mystical experience.
ОтветитьI imagine Salieri was trembling in agony, ecstasy, envy, admiration, all rages in his head.
ОтветитьWhat an amazing performance by F Murray Abraham , if ever an Oscar was deserved this was it.
ОтветитьThis scene is AMAZING!
ОтветитьGosh, this movie made me realize the amount of abuse a woman will take for her man. After watching the scene where she is disrespected by Salieri, I try my best not to be anything like him. What an incredibly well made jealous example of misshapen hope and envy. I hope many of those who watched this at my age understood the meaning of those scenes.
