Hello, I use my Macbook M1 Air + iPad 2021 as extension display. Unfortunately, from time to time I lost connection and it all gets very laggy or disconnects completely.
This happens especially after I let the devices to go into the "sleep mode" - after a display turns off when letting it couple of minutes unoccupied. Any advices? Or is it normal?

After the monterey update i don't see a way to scale the display of iPad. I would rather have it has high resolution as possible but it doesn't seem to be a feature anymore

I just found out about the recent universal control feature, don't know if it's the one and the same thing as ~sidecar

I thought of needing just iPad Air before I don't need super smooth graphics, I don't do graphic design work, I don't game - but thinking of it as an extra monitor to my iMac - is it worth getting the iPad Pro?

an you actually record the sidecar on the iPad using the record screen option from the iPad
