Spiritfarer Switch Review | Truly Something Special?

Seems like the developer had 2 interesting/beautiful games that were slightly flawed, and then absolutely nailed this one.

Maybe for future videos you could let us give short snippets of ingame sound like music and sounds just to give us an idea about the soundscape of the game

Adding this one to my list...looks GREAT and can’t deny a beautiful soundtrack. This, along with a Jotun and Creature in the Well sale, payday can’t come soon enough 😬

The screenshots on the Eshop don't do this justice. I thought it was some weird furry game were you are in one location and manage relationships with them lol This shows me that it's more of a platformer adventure with story elements.

I basically have to choose between this and windobound so I am going with windbound in a couple days. I do want this and will grab it when it goes on sale.

Thanks to this game I got curious and picked up the other two Thunder Lotus Games on Switch during their discount period. May do the same for this one, wait for a discount before buying it I mean. Added to the Wishlist.

I absolutely adore this game, I’ve been playing it nonstop since I got it; the story is beautiful yet heartbreaking but still comforting all at the same time and the art style is fantastic and very eye catching! Not to mention all the music is very relaxing to listen to.

It looks like we can zoom in and out in this game. Am I correct? I hope so because I'd like to buy this game but due to poor eyesight I can hardly see the figures in some scenes due to landscape or seascape taking center stage.

Revisiting now that it's 50% off. I didn't know it was from the same folks that made Sundered and Jotun, so yea, count me in!

What was the close second indie game to play? I understood "Guard of Manifold" but can't find anything.

This game really shocked me and my roommate as a really enjoyable co-op. The cat can do everything the human character can except talk, and it handles really well. We played the full story, grabbed all the collectibles, fully upgraded every structure, and had $1.36 million sitting in the bank when we were done. It took us 60 hours, probably because we were overly enjoying the resource harvesting, but it never felt like a drag to us. It’s really hard for us to find co-op games that are chill/relaxed paced and casual skill/non-gamer skill level. The lack of frustration made this a great way to unwind at the end of the day.

I finally made the jump and bought it. It’s currently on sale for less than $10 CAD. It’s currently downloading and I’m excited to jump in. Great review.

This is a testament to how good indie games can be.

I'm about 60% through this game right now and it has already made me cry two and a half times 😭 I've recently lost several family members and this game has really been helping me heal from those losses ❤ an amazing and powerful game 💯

Last week we saw a lot of games drop live during the Indie direct! This is what I would say is one of the biggest ones not only in expectations but price too. Is it worth the price tag and is it as special as it looks? As always thanks for watching, liking and subscribing. This one I spent most my time handheld while I was sick and it was good company!
