15 BIG Changes in Official Hardcore Classic WoW

i found that playing with COMMON SENSE means youll actually make it to 60

I think a really good idea for HC would be a stacking exp buff you get upon death. Every 6 levels gives you +1% exp gain buff starting at lv24 to prevent lv6/lv12/lv18 farming. This means a lv60 dying gains +10% exp. or a lv36 gains +6% ect. This stacks to infinite so in theory some sweaty people will stack it to really high values like 1000% making leveling be 10x faster.

There could even be a system where you gain +1 to all primary stats and +1 haste +1 spellpower +2 atk power each time you die at lv60. This will create a meta of people actually not caring if they die because they will be just a tiny bit stronger next time they are 60. Some sweaty nerds will be grinding to 60 constantly just to build their bonus exp and base stats over time.

This means that eventually the raiding scene will grow as people are able to climb back to 60 in a couple days rather than a couple weeks.

Another cool idea is that if you die in a dungeon/raid, Your group can loot your body and all your gear "drops".
This would allow loot to exist in the game longer and it would be funny to listen to in discord when your guildies go "don't mind if I do"

I also think doubling the loot drops and removing the raid lockouts would be good too considering people want to do AQ40 and Naxx40 and will likely experience wipes which means they have to rebuild their loot each time. The idea of doing MC just once a week to slowly drip loot only to die on week 6 and lose it all doesn't seem appealing.

ur character should disappear after like 5 seconds if you DC its dumb that ur character stays in the game without auto attacking and longer than a logout timer which is 20 seconds. No ONE can abuse alt f4 due to the fact youll still log in low hp and in a sticky situation. You cant have people grind to 40+ and die to a dc it kills all motivation and satisfaction from having a real death

The PvP change is a deal breaker for me. World PvP was a gas back in the day but it would have been on a whole new level if you were perma-flagged on HC. Carebear all over again.

The sheer amount of people I've seen die from DCs make this version of the game not worth it.

Whether or not you can get back in quicker or not, the lack of appeal reduces the chances I will bother playing classic until they release Fresh classic.

Pretty amazing that if I die I can transfer To a classic server and keep leveling and play my same toon

along with the 24 hour cooldown, dungeon quest item drop rate has not been increased so enjoy finishing every single dungeon run 9/10 items and being locked out for a day!

The debuff from declining PvP seems really abusable.

remove the reincarnate of shamys is the worst change, shammy have no defensives, the only "defensive" since classic to retail for them is reincarnate xD

Frost bolt should be your opener. Slows them immediately and fireball will land right after making kills faster and health higher afterward.

I think i'd love this if they they had enabled BGs/removed perm death at 60

why woule they release fresh server on the final phase? why not phase 1?

This is more hardcore light. You can group, use mail, use the AH. You could easily buy gold, use the AH and get gear for example. Hopefully this changes

man. the trading thing seems weird. atleast it will be a way different experience than solo self found. i mean, every1 can make a bank alt und stuff all the good stuff on this char. so u always will be able to get money. idk if this is a good thing. till now i am not complaining. but lets see, if this will bore me out sooner than later

I don’t care about bots, I just think that trading and AH and grouping defeats the idea of hardcore we’re used to I don’t see the point of naming it hardcore where you can juice up your character from the AH or group with people to do named mobs

At first i was excited about d2td but after seeing the degenerate things ppl did at level 30 on the ptr imma pass. I could also see how monetized hc can become. Like imagine a gurubashi arena mafia charging gold or $ for the trinket

I was hoping for some soul split or wierd RP bs for battlegrounds...
Wow without any form of PVP that don't result in death will just resolve in nobody doing it and we'll lose all of them that enjoy that part of the game.

Lowering graphics etc to reduce chance of disconnect and reduce relog time is one of the best bits of advice I've seen so far!

I think there will be a lot of griefers and Blizz wont do anything about it, or it'll take months for them to get banned. Classic softcore servers are notorious for people violating TOS and it would take months for Blizz to ban someone for it.

Quick question mate. You said that all content will be available, but what about AQ? Will we need to make the war effort again or will the gates be open? Cause getting scarab lord on hardcore would be the most badass achievement in the game

Why would they disable battlegrounds? I wanna do hardcore and PvP. Why can't you just die and respawn when you're in a battleground but in the open world or dungeons you can not? I don't get it. Seems like a pointless change.

I disagree with the Shaman not having anhk. I think that you should be allowed this without officially dieing. It's part of the class design that they can resurrect themself and should be even in Hardcore.
