When you guys made the traditional pro ll, man that guitar sounded fantastic. Wish i still had it.
At the end that TV Yellow p90 was super punchy out of all of them, atleast to my ears, mojo.

After many years of studio and stage experience using MANY Gibson Les Paul Guitars I have had to sell them all. They do not stay in tune for me. I have been to every luthier, specialist and Gibson pro's-TRUST ME. I finally settled for a Gibson Les Paul Junior just to have and it stays in tune pretty well.

Is there no more Les Paul tribute??

Have the Special and the SG JR from the original series next two guitars will be the 50s les paul and the 61 sg standard. Love thr original serie so much!

I’ve owned the Junior and Special from the Original Collection as well as a 60’s Standard and found myself moving to the 50’s Standard in Tobacco… it hands down takes names later as in “kicks ass!” And then does so! But have to say, the growl of the dog ear P90 on the Junior and the simplicity… it’s just a perfect rock n roll guitar! Collectively though, I’ve owned nearly some 20 Gibsons over the years and have to tip my hat to the Original Collection… just can’t go wrong w/ any of them! Hands down the best Gibson’s I’ve played and owned outside of maybe Historic Reissues which… LOL… think Gibson should maybe toss me a bone and hook me up on a ‘58!!!😉❤️

I got a 2021 les paul standard 50s in cherry burst and I love it in fact I'm getting ready to plug in after play for hours last night my so I'm going to ROCK 😮

Every model is a 10. As far as the tone comparison at the end I like the Special. ☝

Which one is right for me? More than one! I have 2 and they won't be my last. It doesn't get any better than a Gibson Les Paul.

Imho Gibson should make a Les Paul with the natural colours of the wood, like a guitar not painted. Anyway I prefer miniHums to hums for classic rock and blues.

3k for a standard fml I know damn well you can make instruments for less and should but you will end up being a small company making wall art except for those few guys that can afford it.

This guys said the 60s slim neck was causing a difference in twang from the front pickup. Yet doesn't realize that the gold top with the thicker neck is using completely different pickups!

Why did you skip over the Alnico 5 pickups?

The Special sounded the best, it will be my next purchase. I already have a Studio and Standard 60's :)

All those models with identical fretwire. It’s pathetic. It’s 2023. Yet you have no model with jumbo fretwire. So you don’t offer a consumer choice. But then Sue other makers who do. Hell, your own Custom shop doesn’t even offer a choice on fretwire. Yet Fender/PRS/ESP/Schecter all do.

Maybe you should stop raising your prices so much, remake the RD bass , Ripper and Grabber basses again .

Gibson just stuck a fork in all the other guitar brands with the custom colors. I’ve been waiting for these for YEARS. Thank you, Gibson.

For people trying the 60s and 50s neck, do yourself a favor and really spend some time with each neck. Sometimes a neck that feels off at first, needs some adjustment period based on your past experience. Then after you get used to it it can become the best neck profile for you. Conversely, sometimes a neck that feels great at first can cause your hand to cramp up after 1 or 2 hours of play. So really give each neck a proper chance.

I guess I'll go with the 60's bourbon burst because that's the one I have. I got it used at my local dealer so it already has some light Murphy lab aging.😊

I've owned Gibson USA Les Paul guitars. Then I found how amazing the Gibson Custom Shop is. Now, I only own and buy Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul guitars.

Without Les Paul. Our music would be a Drag. Love my 57 Les Paul standard 🇺🇸. Love that Birdland.
