Such lovely souls you both are, truly. We Canadians are cheering for you.
ОтветитьKeep up the good work. Your videos are always interesting.
ОтветитьI love your videos! Pay no attention to those complaining about anything! Y'all are doing great and I like watching every step.
ОтветитьAwesome from Sydney Australia, content amazing, keep it coming guys in your time.
ОтветитьThank you very much
ОтветитьIt is such a mammoth task that you have taken on, but you are both focused and determined to do it. The work you have done thus far has been truly rewarding to see. Your achievements in building your own boat is truly amazing. Looking forward to future vlogs. Wishing you all the best. :)
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьIt was enjoyable seeing you two relaxing and visiting with all of us who follow your efforts to build your own boat.
ОтветитьIf you have time it’s worth watching the very early adventures Johan had with his buddy in Antarctica. Terrifying. Before Malin.
ОтветитьI’m liking your build series very much. Good content, great music, super fantastic people.
🎶Let the good times roll🎶
I really enjoy watching you build this project it’s a big big chub project my father-in-law built four boats out of steel in the yard that he ran. He had cranes and all the big equipment that he needed to do that. His last boat was 58 foot long when it was fully built and everything was in for water and fuel it weighed 20 tonand my wife and I helped him on the build and other people too so I know what you’re going to. It’s a lot of work and I sure enjoy watching you. I don’t care if you feel the same thing over and over it still fun to watch.
ОтветитьI don't mind seeing the same process every week as long as I get some new information with it
Ответить😎
ОтветитьYou need a crew (5-10) to do the fairing on the hull.
💯
Fairing is a manpower job and not a 1 or 2 person job. Building things some times requires hiring additional workers to complete a specific task properly and efficiently.
You FAILED to discuss the chair height disparity in this video!
Oh, the humanity.
I’m sure you guys were tired of glassing and making videos about glassing, but I think I speak for a lot of us: We were never bored watching the progress!
ОтветитьYou two are awesome. Literally.
ОтветитьThank you for taking the time to do this Q&A and explanation video. It truly is a massive project in all respects and that will certainly apply for every system and sub system that goes in the boat. I have hundreds of questions for you but you need to devote your time to ‘planning and doing’, not answering questions.😉👍⛵️
ОтветитьAn amazing undertaking! Amazing family!
ОтветитьWhy did you remove the screws from the planks?
ОтветитьBli inte stressade av videoinnehållet, alla älskar att se jobbet som görs❤
ОтветитьYou say many hauers- you better say many years👍 Love from Denmark.
ОтветитьMaybe you could sell those temporary frames to the next DIYer it would save him/her quite some effort.
ОтветитьApplause for your incredible levels of ambition. I would call Building Ran III a man-eater for masochists only. ha. Happy torture-boarding. Peace & Love from your Swedish-American brother in sailing. jon ..... (mas·och·ist; a person who enjoys an activity that appears to be painful or tedious.
"what kind of masochist would take part in such an experiment?")
In 8 years Ran 4 will be more easy with these lessons learned
ОтветитьYou verywell succeeded in making intresting video's even dough it were big long Jobs. Im still every week looking forward to next episode.
ОтветитьI look forward to each and every one of your videos each week - no matter the content. I wish you both much success and progress in 2024! Hello to Vera too!
ОтветитьYou guys are doing a great job of bringing us along and describing the process, but even better, making it interesting and worth watching every single week.
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьNot a minute has been boring so far. It's interesting to see how work processes are optimized over the long journey. The long road to success is just as interesting. I wish you all the best for this.
ОтветитьFollowing along I geustimate three more years of construction, if not more. By the time you're ready to launch Bera will be 7 or 8. I know we're a long ways away from that decision. But... you must've given some thought to her education as any parent does. Are you considering home schooling or is it going to be 12 years of Swedish coastal cruising until you can all sail together long distance?
ОтветитьWould I ever dream of questioning you about the build, not because I can’t even build plastic models but because the amount of research and thinking you put into each step. I think you two are amazing taking on such an ambitious project, raising Vera, coping with the weather and still finding time to enjoy yourselves. “Do you enjoy building your boat”? I certainly enjoy watching you do it so keep up the good work.
ОтветитьI am having the time of my life watching this build. I think you have done an awesome job. Saying that I can see it going across the water. <3
ОтветитьThe effects are impressive, great job, I wish you perseverance in your work, I have been with you from the beginning of the channel, greetings from Poland, to Joanne Malin and Viveke. All the best .Robert.🙂😎💪👍❤
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your authentic experience with us. I didn't mind this break from the tedious hull build phase. Wishing you easy fairing.
Ответитьwhen the hull is done, youre half way there. So maybe another 5 years?
ОтветитьJust wanted to say you're both doing such a stellar job documenting your life and the Ran III build. I've loved every single video from the beginning of the build until this one. You're a huge inspiration to me, as I've got a 50ft trimaran that I may or may not be able to complete one fine day. Watching others do these massive projects is of great benefit to many, myself included. Wish you all the best and may YAH Most High bless you abundantly. Takk så mykket.
ОтветитьSo nice. You are the best of team. We love follow you every weekend.
ОтветитьYou are deserving of all the praise that you're getting in these comments. In essence you're creating a reality show that's Really Real. There Is no film crew except for yourselves. Even the production of your videos is holistically incorporated into your everyday lives. First you cruised the world while starting a family. In this next phase you find a special, run-down farm and make it your home base and boat works in the Swedish countryside. It really is fantastic. Those four hands of yours made it all happen, and we can't forget Vera. Think what her two growing hands will be able to do, as the three of you, in the not too distant future, set sail in your beautiful new boat! 😊
ОтветитьThanks guys. Much appreciate being able to join you on this part of your journey too!
ОтветитьIm amazed how quickly you are getting things done. Enjoy the sanding, it will be a lifetime memory 🙂
ОтветитьYou two are a great team.
ОтветитьMalin,🙏 I love your chair!!! looking for something like that for ages. Wha is it?
ОтветитьI have had success sitting cups of mixed epoxy in an ice bath to delay the hardening process. This was important for me as I was working in a hot climate, but this might help in a colder climate, potentially extending the working time by as long as you need. A syringe of mixed epoxy can be placed in the freezer overnight and used the next day for example!
Ответить😀👍👍👍👍❤❤
ОтветитьThe overwhelming majority of your followers are with you - totally - just keep right on sanding and fairing. We’re here!!! 🎉😅
ОтветитьEnjoy each episode for years. As you progress with your build, do you review your progress with your naval architect?
ОтветитьIt's nice to see so many positive comments, with all these troubled times we are living with you are both a breath of fresh air. Thank you for showing the world what is possible by working together.
