STARFIELD on RTX 3060 (1440p & 1080p) All Settings & Best Settings Tested

This game wants you to play it at 30 fps even on PC, just like consoles. No matter what you do, you won't get stable 60 frames, but I've created the best settings for you guys that give quality as well as performance while maintaining a solid 45 frames at 1440p and 1080p. I know 60 frames are the minimum for the best experience, but with this game, we just can't do it. and I guess 45 frames is a sweet spot between 30 and 60 for this poorly optimised game. This game is clearly not optimised for PC which makes you wonder what on earth BGS had been doing for the past ten years of development. Even with a 13th gen cpu and a rtx 3060 from 2021 1080p is difficult to get to play on high/ultra settings without noticeable stutter in dialogue and audio and occasional dialogue lag ie: nov speaking heard first before the lips move LOL . All drivers up to date seems like they focused on Xbox console release more than Pc yet Howard claims the game is optimised when it clearly isnt

On a positive note, since the Starefield hype convinced me to upgrade to a new setup with a SSD, I am now able to enjoy Star Citizen. Thanks Todd!

Is it the GPU or CPU that is the bottleneck?

Wow not even 1080p breaking 60fps at high settings

It's honestly really embarrassing for Todd to say we have to have the latest hardware to play this game, just because he doesn't want to optimize this game. With what the community has been doing so far, they have proved him wrong over and over again lmfao

Todd Howard had to be joking this game is not optimized. The 3060 should be able to handle this at 60fps.

It's hilarious to see some of these people arguing that their 3080 is getting a stable 100fps through out the entire game when there is proof they are full of shit 😂

Excellent Game!!!, I was able to adjust the FPS to 45 thanks to your guide on my RTX 2060.

I would feel really bad for all of you who wait on Bethesda actually releasing optimization patches to play the game but you actually put trust in a company like Bethesda who proved more than once that they either just can´t make a properly optimized game or just don´t give two figs about it. Enjoy what you bought!

i still haven't played this game because i'm waiting for new drivers for the 3060 as well as optimization patches for the game to come out. I'm playing Armored Core 6 on the meantime.

What a joke of a optimisation. Top tier RTX cards are strugging to run even run 1080p ultra. I have some other channels where rtx 4070ti faces issues at 1440p ultra.
Another example of Cyberpunk 2077 which would years to fix 🤣🤣
