when i am using scale command both the height and width is getting changed but i only want to change the height keeping the width same....do we have any command for that?

I have one question now we know scale command so we scale it any one of X or Y distance that's OK but what is my question is there any option to change both X and y should modify? If it is blocked object like your sample of sofa

why dont select sc command and then click outside the block which will be your references point and then rescale it
