Where is explanation on how to use the hydroponic tile? Can you just connect with pipes to a pump to one of them and it will fill them all with water? And the pump will automatically turn off when full? How can anybody know what to do? Also I don't get the farm station. OK it says it will make the micro fertilizer. But then says it is applied to a plant. But not how. So automatically all plants will have it? It makes no sense.

one small question. if i mutate a seed and have a pimp to burry it. will it keep the benefit like juicefruit? and make a auto farm this way that takes no resources nor dubes.

Big cheesy tips: mealwood, dusk cap, grubrub and wheezewort can be plant in flower pot by making a pip plant on an entombed flower pot( entombed in either sand or snow), then copy the settings of the entombed flower pot to other flower pot and boom, infinte source of food and rads without a single cost of other resources.

a few things to mention:

1. micronutrient, has a time duration modifier under agriculture. in essence, it has been buffed in terms of time. for every level of agriculture a dupe has, 10% extra time is applied to duration. so, level 8, 13, or 16 agriculture applies a +80%, +130%, or +160% time extension respectively. 1 cycle duration will only apply if you have a dupe applying micronutrient without agriculture skills.

2. the cost of resources for micronutrient will always be way more efficient, vs the cost of resources needed to keep more plants. if i have time and space, i always use farm stations, especially on plants which have long mature times, such as nosh beans or sleet wheat. one fertilizer synthesizer consumes so little resources that it can be tethered to the overflow for the lavatory. one synthesizer can support 14 plants, and it can be used with wild harvest plants, cutting time in half there as well.

3. i have been looking into mutant seeds for making large sand factories from a chlorine vent, and use them for hatches from a rock crusher. the rads are not hard to get, as the shine bug is more than capable of making large amounts, without generating heat.

I really hope you get enough views to continue with the series for critters and plants! You make great content and with such an in-depth game there's surely at least something useful to come out of all the aspects you go over. You're the Jesus of noobs. Our savior!

It's great to listen to while gaming or cleaning up. could you make a tutorial sometime about exploits and tricks that are not easy to discover by yourself? it's hard to explain, but I would really like a set of differences between..um... for example, the reality and the world of ONI. as well as an explanation of the hidden mechanics.

Also for Mutating plants, Plant mutation is calculated at the time of harvest so the plants only need to be in radiation at the time of harvest (from my tests). Also at the radiation limit for each plant, the chance for a mutated seed is 80% (from the wiki) however from playing with it, it feels higher - I had 15k rads on a sleet wheat and it hasn't not dropped mutated seeds yet.
