Royal Scot 46100 visits Atherstone on the 14th and 15th of September 2024

Over the weekend of the 14th and 15th of September 2024, Ex LMS rebuilt Royal Scot class number 46100 came through Atherstone twice, on Saturday the loco stopped for water while working an Empty Coaching Stock mover from Crewe to Southall in glorious sunshine while on Sunday the loco was at the head of the steam dreams "The Welsh Dragon" multi day tour from London Paddington station to Llandudno (day 1) unfortunately the weather was not quite so nice but the rain held off as the train passed through leaving a nice cloud of smoke in its wake.

The video starts with a service freight before Royal Scot arrives into Atherstone for the water stop, then departs for its journey to Southall, the final clip is the tour on Sunday passing through at just under 60Mph (line speed) before my now usual series of still images at the end, including some that were taken as pure stills instead of from the clips.
