can u pls include a scenario for pyramid triangle data like A-->a,B-->bb,C-->ccc,D-->dddd,E-->eeeee pls explain the logic to execute this one .not by using normaliser pls

Hello, can you please explain that decode part, if we consider LAST NAME logic-->for dept 50 we are returning field1
which is empid and dept 60 we will return field 3 which is last name. can you please elaborate.

. I have a file which contains 2 columns like below:

col1 col2

1 AB

2 B

6 C

52 CK

33 DM

The first column is Integer number and second is string

The requirement is to repeat the second column (i.e.., String value) as many times as mentioned in first column

Sample result:

col1 col2

1 AB

2 BB

6 CCCCCC

52 CKCKCKCK......52 times

33 DMDMDMDMDM.......32times

Achieve the above logic in informatica.

hi I'm new to informatica .. informatica service is not running(services.msc) if i click start it stops within couple of secs.. In powercenter whn i try to connect to rep it throws [PCSF_46008] Cannot connect to domain to look up service [coreservices/UserManagementService]. note: Initially I changed my source and target password since it displayed it vl expire in 7 days in oracle sql developer.. plz guide me.
