I've played the game to the end 6x & have over 6,500 hours in it - my last game was the longest- I wanted V to be as powerful as possible. I had body, technical ability & intelligence all at lvl 20 & I think reflexes wal lvl 5. Instead of moving on to work on the story when I hit 50 cred, I continued to fight... I worked on all the skills so I could level up the perks. It took time, but I did it- I maxed out all the perks in every skill.
I can't sleep more than 3 hrs tops, plus I have to be off my feet all the time- it has been that way for 18 yrs- I dont like movies or tv anymore- all those commercials RUINED it!! I found gaming to be a LOT more fun & the time flies by really fast!! 😀 I've NEVER been happier!
Anyway, as far as the number of enemies in an area, it varies from group to group. My FAVORITE place to get TONS of weapons is the 6th Street gang, across from Arasaka's warehouse in Santo Domingo, (where Hanako's float is located). Between 7am-10pm, There are times Ive counted as many as 27, but usually, there are 21-22. I hit that place, then hit Arasaka's warehouse area (outside). That is another 15-20 enemies- but the majority of them will have 2 guns, (that are really good), lots of booze & misc. I will run 3 blocks going south, on the main road that runs between Arasaka & the 6th Street gang. I immediately go back to 6th Street, because they all respawned. Right after that, I go to the other 6th street gang, at the base of the nuclear power plant towers. There are 10-15 of them there-BE CAREFUL about shooting- they are usually holding workers hostage. After clearing them out, I DON'T cash in on the weapons yet, UNLESS I was carrying too much. Since I have already taken out the group of Arasaka guards, I go take out the 2 groups of 6th street gang members, by the drop point 1 block over. I then jump time ahead 24 hours (but repeat it 2-3 times. Return to the 6th street group across from Arasaka's, & they all respawned. The reason to skip ahead 24 hrs several times is there is a BETTER chance for the Arasaka guards to respawn.
When Ive maxed out the weight (that is, after taking the capacity booster), I easily collect around $80,000! Now that the 2.0 update has changed how to play the game, I plan to choose the best 3 weapons of that bunch, & add them to my arsenal... then, break down the rest. I WON'T have a shortage of parts doing it, thats for sure!
I started playing the updated version, around 3 hrs after it was released. I'm at lvl 9 & have 17 street cred... Even though I've been breaking down all the weapons I don't need, I still have €$95,464 cred.
Under skills:
Headhunter-23
Netrunner-30
Shinobi-8
Solo-2
Engineer-7
Even after going to the Voodoo boys, I'm still going to get V leveled up more, get better weapons & cyberware before going to Dogtown! From what I have seen in the videos so far, it is definitely going to be a challenge! All my games have on the hard setting... I didnt want to put it on easy, just bec as use of yhe update!
I forgot to mention another way I was making a TON of eddies... but I had to have the reinforced tendons to do it, though.
I would go to the prison & give all the guards a case of cyberpsychosis...but if I was wanting to kick it up a notch, I would just have a big 'ol shootout with them!
IMO, the changes CDPR made have DEFINITELY kicked the game up quite a few notches! It is strange, seeing so many cops on foot patrol- and the hissing noise (?), that happens when V is wanted- I'm not sure what that is supposed to be, unless it is drones flying nearby. Its funny, when I can make cars (esp cop cars!) speed up, ramming cars or buildings😂
I'm REALLY excited about all the new game elements & the adventures that await in Dogtown... There is so much more to see... I already got the Kiroshi scanner & all, but I haven't met with Jackie yet, about the heist. I dont want to go there unprepared, outgunned, or not have adequate cybeeware!
One last note- I was playing on Xbox One, but upgraded to the Series X immediately, after I found out about Phantom Liberty.
I actually found a way into the Combat Zone... I've been in there numerous times, exploring. Unfortunately, quite a few buildings were only empty shells. Outside tg he zone, there were audible explosions- but once I got inside, there were no explosion, no people... no nothing. Just buildings (some were still under construction... when NC, the investors & all the land developers abandoned the area). A number of them had huge mountains of sand piled up around them, that buried the bottom floors (I'm couldn't tell if the max depth was 4 floors, or it was more).
It will be VERY different, seeing the area come alive with people, vendors & more...
I wonder what CDPR's Project ORION is?
I hope they plan to expand EVERYTHING in & around NC & the surrounding land... heck, I want to see lots of missions across the border & in the other states!
Cyberpunk 2077 is totally addicting!

Netrunner seems to also level when you interrupt enemy quickhacks.

I've not touched much of the story missions, got as far as finding Evelyn. Mostly doing every NCPD scanner mission on my route towards Cyber Psychos and Tarot Card wall paintings. The odd gig on my travels and have nicely made my way to level 29 with a street cred of 43.

From the front view of your white vehicle, you are driving a Bugati, from the rear view you are driving a Chevolet Corvette. So what is it? A Corgati or Bugette?

Does sleeping at your apartment still give an xp gain buff? Also not sure if certain clothes/mods still give street cred gain buff as well like they used to.

I already loved the original game but this 2.0 update is insanly fun. Love the "charging ennemies" skill coupleld with gorilla arms. So funny.
IF they use this as a base for the sequel in few years. DAMN ! Hopefully they suceed with UE5. I hope they try to make the city more alive even without the player (like Sleeping Dogs, GTA 5 & other immersive games).

This loop from my experience would be more efficient if instead going up the stairs and to the fast travel point you would go right to pier ( additional 2 camps, 3 AIs each and your distance should also respawn previous of camps ) - to efficiently go back from there I advise going down the stairs and jumping through water back to the beach
